These bags are really nice. Heavy duty and robust. It's fun to see my wife trying to figure out how to get the zipper open too the first time she opens one, but really it works and the zipper is very functional and durable. The bag is really thick. No complaints here. Much better than bags I have used before. I live in a cold climate and have to roast enough coffee to get me through the winter months because other wise I'd have to try to drink store bought coffee. A fresh roasted rat turd is probably better than store bought coffee. Just saying.

In most respects these bags are perfect for 12oz coffee. Our thermal labels stick just fine despite it being a matte finish. My only complaint is that when I heat-seal them, the top tends to curl. I need to press down on it with a cool heavy object to ensure it stays flat when cooled. For the price, I'm very happy.

Just spent 6 hours using these to pack loose-leaf tea for all the wedding guests. The bags are great (but seem to pick up fingerprints, so use gloves when filling, etc). They stand nicely, look pro even after filling, and worked well with my at-home heat sealer (It seems to seal well on 3, per recommendation, but at the doubled-up ends where the bag folds in, you may have to hold it a second or two longer so it seals those parts). I would say the one valve doesn't seem to let the aroma of the product you've packed out but meh, I just wanted something that looked really clean and professional and this did the trick. Tried out the zipper seal, works like a charm (don't worry that it's not attached to the other side of the bag inside, trust me, it works, as long as you heat seal above the zipper). Would recommend!

These bags are very professional. You’ll need a heat sealer IF you want to seal air out of the bags (which you should do to properly store your fresh-roasted coffee beans. The valve allows the gases coming off the beans to escape. To open the bag, simple pull the tab and the ziplock resealed is exposed. Nice! Labels must be purchased separately.

They look slick, modern and with trendy colors but.... the plastic reseal strip has repeatedly separated from the bag itself after a couple of reseals/reopens. In other words, the bag seal fails and it is no longer air tight. And this hasn't been an isolated incident. It's happened numerous times with the bags I've used. It's back to kraft bags for me.
