This book is a perfect guide to those who wish to learn this art. The book starts off with the basics and gradually introduces new concepts of music. The DVD provided with the book is extremely helpful as it provides videos related to different topics that are covered in the book. Great for gifting purpose, as well, to those who are learning music.

Book content is crisp and clear, but i cannot follow the content as i go further deep in the book because the dvd provided with the book is not working(fyi. Other dvd's i have are working fine)So placed the return order and i got the refund thanks to amazon,But i really want this book back with working dvd.How can i get the guaranty that the next one i order will get the working dvd.

Well written book for flute lovers. Have yet to see the DVD as my laptop does not have a player ;-(!! But i am sure it would be just as good. Would be great if the publisher can find a way of uploading the videos on a cloud for book owners to access the videos, cause DVD's are almost dying while streaming is catching up.

Its a great book for classical music lovers and people curious to know more about classical music.

Though the content is great , am unable to play the video files from the CD but only the Audio . I did leave a message to the seller and also asked to replace the CD but I have not heard anything yet .

A fabulous and comprehensive collection of exhausting tutorials for the true Indian classical music aspirant. Truly grateful for this beautiful compilation.I am specially excited for the flute lessons!
