Because I was (and am) a fan of TORG, I recognized exactly what that was, a variant upon the Drama deck.Cards that can be played into the story in a manner similar to using a Bennie to alter the story.Both an aid to players and GMs alike, these cards can inspire a whole new direction to the story and assist in fulfilling one more aspect of player engagement.Just about to buy my GM his own copy, just because...

It's a little confusing, but this deck is NOT the Savage Worlds card deck used for initiative mentioned in the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition (SWADE) rule book. These do NOT have the markings you'd find on normal playing cards like Spades, Hearts, Clubs, or Diamonds. These are optional cards you distribute to your Savage Worlds players (one per character rank) before the game session begins. They can then turn in their card during the game to invoke a special power like "ADRENALINE SURGE - Your hero gets an additional and immediate turn." They're cool, and it's a neat idea to spice up the tabletop game, but the entry on Amazon could be more clear.
