I love this light, it is SUPER bright, even on the lowest setting! The battery you attach to the frame is pretty bulky but it's worth having to take it along to ensure your pathways remain very well lit. Very easy to mount, which also makes it easy to detach it to use it in the headlamp harness or as an emergency flashlight. This the second one I have ordered. Then last week or so, I ordered a totally different headlight that was cheaper but supposedly had more lumens than this one. I was very disappointed, it was not nearly as bright, it was made of cheap plastic, and the velcro couldn't even hold up the weight of the battery. Needless to say, I sent that one back!!! And ordered a THIRD one of these! I was initially disappointed that there was no strobe setting, but THERE IS. You just have to hold the button in for about 3 seconds. . One of the headlights that I received does not hold a charge however, but I didn't really need them anyway. And oh, all 3 lights headlights I bought are the dual-beam model.

If you are serious about seeing where you're going at night,this is the light for you.It lights a much larger area than the average bar mounted flashlight.Battery life is good and you get a free usb taillight too.

Couldn't stand the battery pack being at least a pound. Cords were too short to put it somewhere on a bicycle frame that's out of the way so I ended up returning it for something different.

I just recieved this today and at first I was not so sure ... the cabeling is soooo long and somewhat un -wieldy ... BUT actually ... it is genius! First, attaching the headligt ... I had to add tape to my bar (yes I recieved two attachment bands - both same length) but for a tight fit on my handlebar I had to add tape ... now it is snug and doesn't "drift" as I ride ... Next ... the 4' of cabel from the light to the battery ... and where do I put that battery ... it is more massive/volumness than the light ... as others have reviewed ... well ... this is where the genius of the design starts to shine ... I sacraficed the headlamp configuration (already have a great one) and routed the wires along my top tube attaching with cabel-ties and attached the battery on my rear rack ... I kept wondering what that USB end was for ... BINGO! I have a "Scosche" exter this battery charger I bought for Int travels ... it has both a 5V/2.1A & 5V/1A outlets. When I pluged the USB from the light intothe 2.1A outlet ... it worked great ... that gives me an additional battery pack to take with just in case as well as a battery charger for my I-phone as well as the rear lights etc. if ever needing a charge while out & about ... the light is extremely powerful ... truly amazing! I have only gone on two rides with this but I am impressed ... Oh one more thing ... I got two rear lights ... but only one worked (they were free) ... and it works very well ... shinny side up!

Benjz head light works great! Glad they sent 2 taillights as on the first ride one taillight came apart a shattered on the street. second one still working!
