I've purchased both this zebco custom-z combo and the zebco roam combo within the last month and both are great rod and reels although I like the custom-z better.

Works great! Casts a mile, light weight but very durable. I bought one, liked it so much I bought another. Super smooth action and easy to cast. My 5 year old son uses it with relative ease. Great price for high quality. I recommend this Zebco 33 kit to all my friends who want to get their kids into fishing.

A two-piece fishing rod is designed to come apart into two separate sections. The first combo I received only had the bottom half of the two piece rod. I reordered it and the replacement only had the bottom half of the rod too
