suppliment junkie
Trying to battle health and nerve damage, I have tired everything that has come along, and every-time 'I INSTANTLY SEE IMPROVEMENT'' or so I told myself. Even if I waited for the bogo offerings at my local Meijer it was still diminishing returns in my view, so I sought and found (so far) a multi all encompassing supplement, which lead me here. is it a miracle cure 'doubtful'. This does closely meet the vitamin needs I have determined would best benifit me at 1/4 the prior cost.

I do not work for NOW Foods... I just like their products
Seems like a few people get upset because I don't offer any medical "treatment" or condition this product might cure.I like NOW Foods approach to food supplements. They make all their products very affordable while retaining quality. Seems some people feel that something has to be expensive to be of any value. It simply is not so.NOW Foods products work, I feel better and I've been taking them for years. I could pay more for the exact same stuff, and I'd feel OK. But knowing I'm getting a good price helps feel even better!

Seems comprehensive...BUT
While this multivitamin has a very inclusive list of vitamins and herbs, it does have a shortcoming: it has more than 100% of the daily recommended value (200% for A and E) for water insoluble AKA fat solble vitamins (A, E, D and K). What's the problem with that, you ask? Well, our body is very good at getting rid of extra water soluble vitamins like the B family, C etc., but not at getting rid of fat soluble vitamins. Too much of water insoluble can be detrimental at times. Hence, as a multi supplement, it should have 100% or less of the daily value of fat soluble vitamins, and not more than 100%. The purpose of a multi supplement is to fill in the voids of the vitamins you don't get from food, and NOT to stack up you body with vitamins it can't get rid of when it has no use of it.Also, it barely gives you Calcium in the supplement. Like 5% of the daily recommended dose. How about give us less of A and E, and give us more Calcium which is more essential and harder to get from food than vitamin A and E?Bottom line: I like its comprehensive list of vitamins and herbs, BUT its downside is its high fat soluble vitamin content, and low Calcium content. In my next pick I will definitely check its content before I buy it.

Stinky
I only use Now supplements, but I don't think I will buy this one again. The smell and taste are so disgusting that I gag every time I take one.

How does one determine the efficacy of a MVI?
I’m a retired RN, and trust me, I know medicine. But how does one gauge the efficacy of a multivitamin (MVI)? I’ve taken scores of different multivitamins from top brand companies, and about the only thing that I can subjectively and objectively say about any of them is the color of my urin, that’s it. I just wasn’t really all that impressed with the ADAM product. For all those that want to isolate an MVI to quality (not quantity), look and see what they use for their B-12. Cyanocobalamin 👎 , Methylcobalamin👍. Most MVI manufacturers use the 👎. If you were unaware, the cyanocobalamin is manufactured with cyanide. The end product has a trace of cyanide in it. Uh, no thanks! Okay, to be honest it won’t hurt you, but if a manufacturer is going to go out of its way to avoid the cheaper “cyano” and opt for the more costly “methyl”, that should speak volumes about the quality and thought process put behind the product. Just my 0.02¢.
