Organic Wheat Berries, Soft Red Winter Wheat, 15 lbs., Farmer Direct, Organic, non-GMO and IP

I had been using soft white wheat and decided to go to the soft red wheat for the flavor. No disappointment here. This is what I use for pancakes, waffles, etc when I don't want high gluten and it works great.

I needed more wheat berries for my wheat grinder and I was super impressed with the quality of how these looked when they arrived. Very clean, no sign of bugs (which is very common in wheat), and the flour is a really nice quality.These shipped in a heavy weight plastic and they were double bagged which kept them protected in shipping.

With life crazy and food supplies lower we purchased these to have on hand if needed. We can not tell how good they are as we have not had a chance to use them. They do appear fresh and we look forward to using it at a later time. They looked as we expected. I Will update after use.

The berries arrived in a well-sealed plastic bag that protected the product to delivery. The berries are clean with no evidence of pests. I like the flavor of red wheat over white wheat berries. I've only made one loaf of bread with these berries so I'm still trying to discern a flavor difference between hard red and soft red.

Very nice product, they've done an excellent job at cleaning the wheat. There are no stones, dirt, or other objects in the wheat, which has been an issue with other sellers. The wheat makes excellent flour, which I sieve some of the bran out of before turning it into bread. I am very pleased with this product, and would recommend it to anyone looking to try a little home milling and baking.

We bought this farmers groats and winter wheat, 15 lbs bags. The products are wonderful, clean and fresh. We have a rice cooker with a delayed timer. We set our groats for breakfast and mix in with an apple and a tablespoon of cinnamon for a sparkling mouth feel.

Will be buying again. I love the fact I can buy direct from the farmer! It allows us to get the money back in the Farm instead of being into the hands of the middle man. Product was amazingly fresh, the flour I made from this was highest quality and taste amazing in fresh baked bread. I will continue to buy my wheat berries from this seller. Thank you :)
