Wonderful easy experiments to do at home with items that you have around the house. Simply written so that the children can do this on their own. Great pics too. As a former teacher I would use these experiments in my classroom.

I have a lot of the Spangler books, but this one is by far the best he's done. Lots of amazing fun facts throughout the book, great pictures, clearly written instructions and a lot of variety. My favorite bit is that each experiment offers ideas for an extension activity to make it a true investigation (like for the science fair). Highly Recommend.

My grand baby who is 5 loves to create “experiences.” Fun experiments for kids, would be cool in a science classroom. Steve Spangler, the author, is often on a Denver News channel with an experiment for kids! Love, love him and his book!

This book has such a variety of experiments. It keeps the child's interest.

....and I guess so do it. Most experiments he and I can do together. Loads of fun for the both of us.

We’ve had many such books and this one has lots of new options. Science explanations still lacking in this class of books in general.
