Ergonomic Replacement Bucket Handles 4 Pack

I use those refillable 30 lbs. cat litter buckets and these new handles make hauling litter around MUCH easier on my hands. The old handles were flimsy and would often break or my cat would chew them off. I toyed with the idea of making my own handles with pvc pipe, but after calculating time/gas to hardware store/effort/ cutting pvc/removing and replacing wires, etc — these were ultimately easier to use, better looking and of a better quality! Placed my order, received them the next day, and I had them on all my buckets in about 5 minutes.

I like these for the orange plastic 5 gallon Home Depot buckets. However they do not work on smaller galvanized buckets, because snappy grips can not accommodate a curved handle. Each snappy grip is absolutely straight from end to end and does not become more pliable in hot water. This was not mentioned in the product description, so I knocked off 1 star. For a regular 2+ gallon galvanized metal buckets, the Bucket Boss Brand 08010 Bucket Grip works.

I keep old 5-gallon buckets to use for yard work. But, of course, the original handles break off quickly with use. And the buckets become painful to carry. These handles are a hand-saver. They snap on easily and are comfortable to hold. Since these handles are straight, I did have one bucket with a curved handle that I couldn't use them on. Not a demerit, just an observation.

These are well worth the money. They are a bit tricky to get on at first but once applied, they save so much trouble. They fit very comfortably in your hand. They've lasted since I put them on(about a year). So I'd say they are well worth buying.

The handles work well when I can get them installed on the buckets. The first handle was easy to install and clicked into place easily. The second handle was difficult to get lined up properly and click into place on the bucket. I will try again when I have more time to devote.

I use 5 gallon buckets to haul my tools around for work. The weight usually cracks the stock handles. I used these to replace them. They clip together fairly easy, just make sure to line up the thin guide pins, sometimes the get bent.

I love these replacement handles. They are so comfortable for carrying five- gallon buckets of compost or birdseed. The original bucket handles were pretty pitiful. Most broke fairly quickly and were never comfortable. I was thrilled to discover them in Handyman magazine and to find them at Amazon.

Nice handle replacement for your work pail...you have to cut the original one off (if it's still there).(Added bonus)...nice way to spot your work bucket when it's around other buckets.
