Would give zero stars if possible
Not like any other Italian cheese I've had. Fortunately I tasted it before destroying any dish I'd make.It's creamy, with no sharp taste.

Excellent, slightly milder flavor and more moisture that traditional Italian parm
This is my favorite every day parm for most cooking and eating. I find the real parm from Italy too salty and dry. This has a more mild flavor in comparison, but still strong parm. It is also moister. It grates well. It is not crumbly. I buy it at the local grocery for about $5 vs $9 today on Amazon--a good value. It stores well and comes sealed in plastic. I almost never have a mold problem and it may sit in my frig for a couple of months before I use it up. I also like their fresh mozzarella and provolone--not gourmet but better than most other mass market brands
