I bought this to replace a different brand magnet mount. The first brand I purchased couldn't hold my Ruger American 9mm very well while driving. Everytime I turned, stopped or drove on a road not completely smooth, it would fall on my foot. Then my brother showed me this one, saying it held his pistol like glue matter how he drove, so I ordered it and couldn't be happier. It's strong enough to hold my 9mm vertically, and doesn't budge a centimeter on sharp turns, bumpy roads or even going faster than advisable over railroad tracks. I put it through every test I could think of, and it stays where it should on the mount. Even with the magnet being that strong, it only takes a small twisting motion to grab the gun. I absolutely love this mount and couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Very strong magnet, adhesive isn't strong but it does come with screws of many sizes.

Great magnet and strong 3m tape. I like having the screw option. Holds my full size handgun no problem even with polymer grip.

It seems to stay stuck magnificently for a couple months but will randomly unstick. I’m trying gorilla glue to see if that helps. So far it’s good but I shouldn’t have to use that. Comes off as a very powerful stick

These magnets are easily installed and strong enough to hold securely my semi-auto pistol in one position as vehicle engaged road bumps.

Definitely works and puts things in easy reach. Doesn’t stick well to leather, but does stick to plastics. The only issue that I had was driving on roads with a lot of potholes and manhole covers. The constant bumps and the weight of what I had on it kept causing it to fall off from the plastic.

This is a really nice magnet. It mounted very nicely and the magnets are super strong. It holds my Glock 19 very nicely and does not allow it to move. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a strong rubber magnet.I did have to use different nuts and bolts to secure it as the screws provided were not good for this area of install. However it’s solid on there and I’m confident this will last a long time.If you’re on the fence, look no further, this is it!

I saw some reviews that said this could barely hold two pounds. I’m not sure if they received damaged or fake products but I received excellent magnets.I love the soft but durable rubber coating to protect my firearms from scratches, and it came with both long and short screws as well as drywall anchors.The magnets are very strong and as long as the item is placed squarely on them it can hold some serious weight (see photo of it holding a 25lb dumbbell). If you place something at an angle or edge then you start losing that strong magnetic bond. This is actually a good thing. It means that a pistol is held very securely but still easy to remove quickly when in need simply by pulling the pistol grip at a slight angle.In my opinion these were an excellent buy and very affordable considering you get two magnets. I would definitely recommend the ones I got to friends and family.
