Best defense against ethanol I have found.

Forget the red, stinky stuff, don't work. Only the blue, odorless Marine formula works for preserving Ethanol gasoline from phase separation and not forever either. Keeps ethanol gasoline viable for about a year and that's it. Take your year old gas and put it in your fuel injected automobile, it don't care one way or another, however your carbureted small engines do care.I use it in all my power equipment gas all the time and just a little amount works fine. There is an expiration date on the bottle you need to adhere to (after opening). Past that date, the product is no good so buy a small bottle and use it up. I recommend it for small engines in seasonal power equipment. Also keep in mind IT IS FOR 4 STROKE ENGINES ONLY, not 2 stroke motors. 2 stroke engines, the pre mix oil usually has stabilizer in it.

This product keeps the gasoline fresh all winter so that the engine runs smoothly in the spring.

I have a new tractor tank that was starting to rust inside. Did a bunch of reading and the, maybe cure, is this and a few drops of 2 cycle oil to every 5 gallons. The ratio was 500 to 1 on the 2 cycle oil, if you want to get technical. It was not long, maybe 10 hrs use in a 2 week span, I had to change the fuel filter! I could not believe what was coming out of the tank. It has never seen ethanol fuel, is kept full and under cover. It will need a second filter change soon, but not much coming out any more. I would have never guessed it, but I'm sold on this stuff from now on.
