Tadpoles Soft EVA Foam 36 Piece ABC Playmat Set, Multi/Primary, 74x 74 (36 Sq Feet)

Got this plahmat for my daughter since we have hardwood floors and she decided to start rolling over and wanted to make sure she had a comfortable place on the floor to do it and to use in the future for when she is playing, starting to crawl , pull up or so we don't have to worry so much about tumbles or ouchies and so on. Very easy to assemble, no missing pieces, perfect size, plenty of cushion, love that it goes together/apart easily for moving around if needed or for storage and so far is easy to clean. So far the quality seems to be very good and have no complaints and is very reasonably priced, definitely would recommended if you have a infant or very young toddler!

Bought these to use for our daughter's play area. They are great and will help her learn as she grows. We love that its multicolored. We have setup them up on hardwood and the padding is decent. Its not super thick but it provides some softness if the baby takes a tumble. Falling backwards from a standing position would worry me because I don't feel the padding is sufficient enough to break a fall backwards. Check my picture for a thickness shot. Our daughter is learning to stand and walk, so we have to make sure we are beside her when she is playing on the mat. We love it and will use it for many years to come.

So I bought two sets of the tadpole mats (ABC/Numbers & the Stars/Hearts) so what is seen in my picture is obviously bigger than if you were to just buy ABC set by itself. I did think it was awesome that both sets matched and fit together though! My little girl just started crawling and trying to stand so these were a necessary purchase due to our hard floors. They aren't super squishy but they are a million times better than nothing at all and I honestly think they are enough cushion to protect her. She has already took a tumble and she recovered almost immediately - just got a little teary eyed for a split second. They also provide her much better traction which is nice. I am able to use my stick vacuum over them but only on low setting. They wipe up easily. This is a quality product and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Very easy to clean. Love the black and white option! Size it great. Got it for my baby to help her crawl on or hard flooring. She loves it. I only have it 4 stars because the letters and numbers come out a little too easy. On the floor they are great, but I have 2 older kids who pull them out all the time. I tried picking it up to clean under it and pretty much all the letters fell out. Just be nice if they were a little more snug. Other than that I'm so happy with it. Update: I do have dogs and even though I try to keep them off I can't control it when we aren't home. There are definitely indents in the mat from there nails. Its not bad and I still love the design so for me its not the end of the world. For the price point I'm still happy with it, but if you have pets just know.

Great buy for us! This is a thick durable foam mat. Great for extra safety/padding from a baby learning balance that falls/tips over a lot to keep baby safer and great visual/puzzle for toddler learning shapes/letters. Easy to put together/store and easy to wipe clean

Overall, love the mat - good cushioning for my little man’s fumbles and falls. The 36 piece is good for filling in a customized shape area. First we had a rectangle in front of our couch over our rug.. now that our son needs more room to roam, we have it filling in the rest of our play area that doesn’t have a rug. We have 2 mats so we have enough letters to have it set up more like a word search instead of the order of the alphabet which is kinda fun. Some minor “cons” (specifically about the letter mat) ) although I like the alphabet from a learning perspective, with so many pieces it’s easy for my son to find a tiny gap from it shifting and start picking up all the tiles. So....... sometimes I need to reassemble the area by our hallway baby gate 1,000 times a day because when he’s annoyed that he’s on one side and we’re on the other, he just starts ripping up the tiles. So, I think the solid color squares might have been a little better in that aspect because all the edges lock together like a puzzle as opposed to the smooth edges of the letters that are a little easier for him to pick at and remove to start his reign of destruction..... lol Also when it comes to cleaning, the letters offer more gaps for stuff to slip through whether it’s my dog having an accident, my son stealing and spilling a bottle of olive oil or just strands of hair I’ve shed intertwining into the letters. So...... love the mat - would definitely buy again, but sometimes I wish I got the solid squares instead because they might be easier for staying put and cleaning purposes.
