Good For Single Servings
I have used mine a few times. I am a single person. I use things gently, keep things clean.CONS: These aren't really cons to me, but may be cons to other folks.1. Lid is plastic. I like it because the small plastic lid is very easy to clean. However, I wouldn't put it in a dishwasher. And, a dog could chew it up if it is on the floor.2. No heat setting, only plugged in or not plugged in. This is O.K. with me as I only cook on high, anyway, with my regular crock pot. Also, depending on the food, you will need to unplug it at the right time. Some foods, like split peas or potatoes, I don't care how long they cook, although you will want to check the water lever ever 3-4 hours. Other foods, like barley, I don't want to go to mush, so 4 hours is max. (Freeze dried beef, barley, and a couple packets of bullion make for a quick 5 minute meal prep and tasty meal.)PROS: I like this pot. As a single person, it makes a nice meal. Put your ingredients in it and leave it alone. Its small size makes it easy and fast to clean. I just take out half the food and unplug. When I come back for the other half it is cool enough and small enough to pour the rest in my bowl and then rinse it out and fill with soapy water in the sink. After I eat, it washes easily and it is clean and drying after I eat.

desktop soup
i work from home but due to the nature of the business cannot always leave my desk for lunch. i know it's taco themed but for the price, i don't care what it looks like as long as it keeps my soup hot. the inner crock is removable and dishwasher safe so cleanup is simple. when it is still hot, the handles of the crock are not typically too hot to pick up.downside: plugged in = on and that's a great way to burn up appliances or cause boiling hot accidents if you are clumsy or forgetful like i am or when the outlet is hard to reach like behind the desk. so i paired it with a short power strip that has individual switches so i can turn it off easily and the light on the power strip switch reminds me it's turned on.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BBD9ZZTQ/i use the second one for melting/mixing fake gelatin blood for special effects and stage makeup. perfect temp, doesn't overcook the gelatin.

Breakfast and Lunch
Perfect for heating up lunch at work. Just put lunch in the pot and plug in when you get to work and when lunchtime rolls around, you have a nice hot little meal without bothering with microwaving, etc. Very easy to clean, just don't use any harsh scrubs so you don't scratch the ceramic. If you like steel cut oats but don't have the 30+ minutes to stand at the stove stirring the oatmeal, put all the ingredients including milk/water into the pot before going to bed. Use an outlet timer (like what you would use to automate turning on and off lamps around the home when you go on vacation) and set the timer to turn on 2 hours before you wake up / are ready to eat. The oatmeal will be ready to eat by then!I find it works great to wrap the pots in a small towel and then set another small towel on top when cooking oatmeal or heating up lunch. (see the picture) The towels help retain a lot of heat inside the pot and everything cooks much faster. These pots are perfect for single portion type meals, a can of soup, oatmeal, grits, etc.

Entertaining Must Have
I bought these for game day feasts but know that I will get a lot if usage out of them. Exactly 1 pound of taco meat fits inside of 1 crock pot for size comparison. They heat the dips and cheese sauces up just enough to be warm without burning and drying out. These are wonderful to have on hand and at a fantastic price!

Great dip crockpots
I use this recently during a party. I use it for queso and bean dip. They worked perfectly. I warmed the food in them and it kept it warm without burning it. Additionally, they looked really cute on the taco bar.

Handy to wash
These are hot enough to make bone broth and keep dips and chili hot. (190f) To wash, just place crock pots in dishwasher - super easy!
