Wishing the cord was longer but it's exactly what I needed.
I just wanted something that heats up so I can poke holes in plastic containers and use those for planters. I know it'll come in handy for other projects too. Immediately after using it, I imagine because of the heat, the top and part of the middle metal part have turned a dingy color. I imagine from getting hot, melting plastic on it, and that it wasn't going to stay pretty. Still good for the price and I'm probably going to use it a lot.

Useful when little heat is needed but not a 60W device
The temperature adjust knob is actually a power adjust knob, there is little temperature feedback. For example with the knob set to the minimum 225C, the initial power is about 24W and when it stabilizes with the tip in cold water, it is 14.6W while in air it is 11.4W.

Works great!
Easy to use. Has a metal holder to keep it from damaging a surface. The holder is very flimsy, so I just lay the soldering iron on a ceramic plate.
