I used to work for a company that sold Cabot's fumed silica. I toured Cabot's plant in Illinois twice. Once when I was about 12 and got to watch a free flow demonstration with corn starch AND was givin an official SPACE PEN, developed with cabots fumed silica. And later in my 30s working for a distributor. I am still waiting for my order, I haven't played around with the stuff for over a decade now. I really want to make magic sand, the sand that doesn't get wet. I will update my review with a video of the process and finished sand.

Takes a lot of stirring to get it absorbed into the resin. Have had better results with other brands

Very fine powder. Great for emulsifying. Wear a mask when you open it because it is very fine.
