I am the proud owner of three Stormy Kromer hats , and love them all. If I wound say anything about the Waxed cotton is it is a great hat not overly warm great for fall and spring wear. I do believe that it seams a little bigger on the fit compared to my other ones, maybe because it not as much insulation under the roof.

These are kind of dorky, but I like them. I wear mine (black) backwards and it looks a little like a hipster sailor's hat or skull cap... if I wear it with the brim in front, it's a little Farmer-in-the-dell, but, as I've reached middle age, I can look a little dorky and remain distinguished. They fit exactly as to their size, so measure careful.

This is the second Stormy Kromer I have bought for my husband. This one is a waxy tan color that keeps his head dry in rain and snow. Ties in the front of cap, just in case you needed to make it a little tighter. These caps are long lasting. I still have my grandfather’s Stormy Kromer cap. It’s in great condition still til this day.

Just a couple things to mention, each cap has a serial number sewn in, you’ll use that to register it. If it’s lost or damaged beyond regular use they will sell you a new one for half price.
