Q: Hello, i just bought a slide gate operator and1didn't check tbis don't come with the track my opening is 17 ft. So i neeed 6pcs of SR02 galvanize.help

SR02 gear rack is sold with 4pcs totaling 13ft as a pack. If you gate opening length is 17ft, it is suggested to order 8pcs. You could keep the extra two as backup.

Q: What is the tooth per inch/foot of this track? Thanks

The pitch of this track is 0.49 inch (12.56mm), so there should be two tooth per inch.

Q: Will this work on a 25 foot gate as long as I buy enough track?

Please kindly note SR02 Heavy Duty Galvanized Steel Gear Rack works with the rack-driven sliding gate opener. If the length of track is enough, it will work on a 25 foot gate together with the gate opener. Dear Brian, thank you for your question. SR02 steel gear rack will work for the DKR1100ST gate opener, but not for the DKR500ST gate opener. ONLY nylon gear rack (rail) is compatible with DKR500ST gate opener .
