Tear free hair brushing
Couldn't ask for a better hair brush for my daughters wavy hair!! No more tears when we brush it. Detangles hair so nicely and leaves it very shiny. Best purchase ever

Purchased for myself, long long curly hair, fell in love immediately!!
"WOW" is the word that comes to mind. Great for adults too!! I've come to conclusion that there is no "perfect magic brush" for my hair type. Just some that are better than others and I've tried most of them. This brush stands out above and beyond the rest. I'm a male with very very long hair (down to my backside, with mixed hair type 3a & 3b). My hair catches a lot of lint, and tangles very easily. Actually the more my hair tangles (not knots) the better my curls, curl. This is why I don't brush it often. I find that even with the best "detangler brushes" my hair still gets ripped out or snapped off short grrr. To cut down on frizz I only wash my hair every so often, and brush it even less. Well I came across this brush and thought "it's worth a try, if it works on kids it should be very comfortable and work for me". I received it in a couple days (on time) and I immediately opened and used it. I was surprised and relieved that the brush does not have a "rubber like brushhead and bristles" which it kind of resembled to me in the pictures. The brush is more like hard plastic, this doesn't mean they are stiff, though the outside comb is stiff but for a good reason. The inside IS flexible. I Started at the bottom and went very slowly to work out my many tangles and knots that have built up over the last week or so, then moved up and up to the scalp. "Ahhh" were the words coming from my mouth. The larger outside tines do act like my wide tooth comb to guide the hair through it, and in very tangled areas I try to use just the side (comb part) until the tangles are relived then I use more of the main brush to help smooth out. On a side note this brush also did not cause my hair to frizz up as much as other brushes do. Took me about 20 minutes (it was very tagled as I couldn't decide what brush to buy and desperately needed a new one). I did do this brushing dry, only because I really wanted to put it to the test.... and it passed with flying colors!!! The brush DID NOT grab, tug or pull unless I went too fast, which would have happened with any brush or comb on dry tangled hair. It also did not rip my hair out instead just removed the loose hairs that were tangled in. The brush felt so good going through my thick mop & massaging my scalp lol. I do feel that with wet hair, and/or detangler, and/or with some added oil (I like coconut oil) that this brush would make easy work of even the tuffest, most messy, knotted up hair. If it can work on my dry 40 inch long hair (measured from forehead hairline swept back to bottom tips) , well it definitely will work for majority of people out there. I Can't wait to try in the shower on wet conditioned hair (How I usually brush my hair). All the best and good luck with those curls... and to FRIDA a big happy THANK YOU from a satisfied customer.

Curly hair brush for kids
The brush is much bigger than what I expected but I love it! Works well with my 1 year old and her curls (should work well with longer hair) the material is better great and the cover slides right in!

Meh?
I needed an upgrade from my son’s baby brush, but he has very fine hair and hasn’t been desensitized to the sensation of brushing yet. I got this because it looked soft and gentle. It isn’t.It does get tangles out, and I was using it for my own brush for a while too haha. But my son complained about it being “scratchy” or hurting. Because I used it myself, I can sympathize—the tips of the bristles are extremely poky, even for an adult with a toughened scalp. I can’t imagine what this feels like for a toddler! It’s also very heavy, but made of that matte plastic that slips out of your hands all the time (like my Google TV remote lol). I think a suction cup on the base would be a good feature. We have since switched to a boar bristle brush, which is much gentler (and better for hair!). I’ll keep this one around for serious detangling though.

Perfect for little girls or boy hair.
Bought this for my daughter and she loves that she doesn't have to worry about her hair being pulled. Works great and easy to grip in my wet hands without slipping out.

Sharp and inflexible
Eh. I got this for my very curly girl who is about a year old. It works fine but the points are hard, sharp, and inflexible and don’t feel nice on my own adult head so I can’t imagine they feel nice on hers. I have loved every other Frida product but this one is a miss for us.

good for those with sensitivities
This brush is great for kids who might be sensitive to hair pulling. The teeth bend so they do not yank as hard. I lost the brush and I'm buying it again because it works so well

Works well for semi curly hair
My kid has semi curls. I was not sure to buy this as it is for straight and fine hair. But works good on him .The brush tips are fine and gentle on scalp. The handle are big and sturdy to hold and it comes with a cover.
