PWS 2002-2012 for Mini Cooper Convertible Window Regulator Rear Left (Driver) kit

I ordered an entire window regulator from a known parts dealer. The part was on order (of course)...While waiting for the regulator to arrive, I decided to try this kit out. It arrived in like 2 days and I was able to install it and give it a test run for a few days... Low and behold - I cancelled the regulator order and this has held up brilliantly.Saved a lot of money and got it fixed quicker.

I was concerned since my older cable assembly did some grinding on some of the other mechanisms when it froze up. But this installed easy on the window regulator and it worked great. The hardest part of this job had nothing to do with this kit. But it was in getting the crazy window regulator assembly out and back in the Mini Cooper.But I'm overall happy with this. Thanks

As a reproduction , if compares with the original one, the part has smaller springs, smaller cable's diameter, and needed trim on final cable attachement

Poor quality part. Plastic parts had a lot of flash around it and it broke once installed. Also ordered the right side. It came with the springs missing the first time. The second time the springs were were stuck and it too broke.

Headline sums it up. I was in a bind as my side window cable decided to snap (what plastic part). I have done this repair on the other window of my car. Just like last time, these guys had the parts in stock and delivered fast, and I was up and running again. Quick timing makes a big difference for those that don't have a garage to park in overnight.

I got everything installed onto window frame and when I pushed window up and down checking things one of the crimps on the cable came off, found it on other side of garage. Working on soldering it back on now

Fixed my Mini convertible rear window for a fraction of the cost at a Mini dealer. Not an easy installation but with Utube it was doable. Parts fit and worked well
