I'm not bothered by rats......my wife is fearless....but of all things...rats are her biggest fear. So, of course my 9 year old daughter wanted to be a rat for Halloween! The costume fits her well at 53"/ 55lbs. Her mom cringes when she puts it on, so the costume is a success even before Halloween. Visibility is good for her looking out of the hood. The fur is more bear like and the snout not so pointed but overall the look is rat-like with a long rattail. Quality seems good....but we really only need it to last for a night. We are happy with the purchase and reccomend.

Absolutely perfect, adorable, and super warm so we don't need to worry about bundling up so much during trick or treating! Can't wait for my ROUS to disprove all the doubters, they do exist

Runs really small and is SUPER scratchy and itchy on the inside .

Our giant rat enjoyed the boot overs and the head worked well. We did find it necessary to tie the tail up so as to keep it out of the mud. We went with the smallest size and it fit our 4 year old well.

Got it and the head was too tight, though the rest fit (XS for a 5 year old who wears a 5T). Had to cut it down the middle of the chin/neck area and re-sew the edges to leave room. That’s fine, fit issue doesn’t make it less quality. But it took so long to get here and was the only rat costume she liked, that I didn’t have time to try and find another that fit. The quality issue is that the teeth were in all directions, as were the whiskers. I ended up sewing the teeth to the inner lining to keep them in the right direction instead of sticking out to the side. Same for the whiskers, quick stitches to hold them down in place. I also found a lot of hanging strings from the manufacturer’s stitching that I had to cut off. At first I thought I’d have to also fix the shape of the top of the snout as well, but it has a bendable metal wire that I guess got bent in shipping so I just bent it back into shape. Overall the costume itself seems to be ok quality, but the most prominent part (the face) was all messed up and looked like a novice got a sewing machine and attempted to add teeth with no instructions.

My daughter loved it and received a ton of compliments. It was very warm and easy to get on and off. It by far exceeded my expectations.

Size large and head is too small for my 10 year old. I'll have to rip out the seam to make it work. Love the details and the body fits and is a great costume overall.
