It makes a beautiful top cover for my succulents that also help retain some moisture in the summer heat. The colors are accurate after washing or watering - it's dusty at first. I highly suggest you just place it on top and water right after to reveal the colors. It doesn't fade after drying and the dusky green and brown is a nice touch to the color range. My only con about this is the packaging - you should not stand this bag up and expect it to stay up... it's too heavy (i spilt it all over my work space the first time I opened it), so either be careful when taking some out and seal it back up right away or move it to any other container that isn't paper.

I love the black rocks, it's easy to clean, beautiful shine, Smooth to the touch and it protects the plants from bugs. One thing be careful the Rock are pretty large, I had to break it up for some plants that have delicate and small roots. My little baby looks expensive (A touch of Class).

This lava rock is perfect for my succulents and hoya plants! The pieces are a great size — not too big or dusty — and it’s 100% natural with no weird dyes or residue. It mixes really well with potting soil or coco coir to improve drainage. I also use it as a top dressing, and it makes my pots look super clean and professional. It’s nice knowing it’s pure volcanic rock, not synthetic. Definitely worth buying again!

Smaller than I thought it would be. I at least thought I might have some left over for other pots. Had to use all of it in this one pot. Anyway very pretty. Looks to be good quality. Rinsed it with water before I set my plant in. We going see how my plant does now

Perfect for house plants and terrariums.

I started a little cactus garden and wanted different colors to show off my favorite succulents. These lava rocks looked just right. When they arrived, they were a bit dusty and when I hosed them down they turned into a bright pretty black. The packaging was great, comes in a bag that I can just pour around my succulents. The water goes right through and because I live in the desert, I want to take make sure it doesn't go to waste. The lava rock helps that.

SUPER high quality, **very** minimal dust. All pieces appear to be relatively similar in size, so no crazy fluctuations in size from piece to piece. Definitely recommend if you are getting it for your semihydro! I bought it to use in my DIY PON ( that I mainly use for my Alocasias, but sometimes philodendrons, too). Absolutely worth the price in my opinion (ESPECIALLY since I didn't even have to soak and rinse like every other PON ingredient I buy). Of course, I wish I would have gotten more for the price but I'm not mad at the overall value! Seems true to weight also.

Product is so expensive but I was prepared to pay for the right item but Product is smaller than advertised. Disappointing .

Brought to put around the base of my succulents and yucca, look really good, the colours are brilliant and natural (no painted ones), very good quality overall for how cheap they were. Very impressed.

Great lava stone but you don't get a lot.
