I have been using this ice melt for years. It works very well and is safe for my pets. Dual functionality all around.

Melts ice & light snow ,safe for plants& dog paws. I roll product down my driveway like bowling balls. That makes it roll and spread evenly and uses much less product to do a good job.

As advertised, excellent product! Works fast & no adverse affects to my 12 year olds paws.

Last year I tried a lot of different ice melts. As a senior I need product in a light weight pour container -not in a bag and only a 10 lb or less amount. This one is 8lb and easy to handle for me. There are alot of dog walkers in my condo development so when I spread this around my parked car outside they know it is safe. Some I got last year just turn to a blop of white mush. This sprinkles well and is visible over the area so you know it is treating the ice. Another plus is it came in a box with the lid TAPED down so nothing is wasted in transit. I think I will buy another before they sell out - still getting too much snow in NY this year.

This is a great product. I use it for the side door stairs and pavement that my dogs need to travel to get to the backyard. It melts the ice and does not bother there paws a bit!

Does not come out in clumps like others I've tried. Spreads evenly and melts well.

The product is fine. The shipment came with one of the bottle covers off so a decent amount of ice melt spilled out. I was not pleased with that.

Works great and is safe for my dog to walk over. Melts the snow and ice really well. Good price, size and great twist lid for easy sprinkling.

A little expensive, but this ice melt is safe for my dog and works great on my wood deck without destroying my deck recommended

I wanted a non-toxic anti-ice product for my driveway as I have dogs and hens. When I first looked at the product I really had my doubts about how effective it might be. Boy, was I wrong. It works like a charm! You can see it start to work within seconds - and it carries on working - re-freeze doesn't happen, walkways are not slippery and the dogs don't have sore paws. Its brilliant. Will definitely make sure I don't run out.

It seemed to work on my driveway. Although it is ridiculously expensive, I don't wish to damage my concrete driveway. I would encourage any others who are contemplating buying some ice melt to look at the ingredients. Although many claim to be safe for concrete, I would be skeptical based on the ingredients. If the components have either Calcium Chloride or sodium chloride, I would doubt if it is concrete safe. I am certain these products will be lower cost and more effective at very low temperatures but be prepared for a spalled driveway.

Use this every year and find it's exactly what I need. Not the cheapest product but totally safe and really easy to dispense.
