Touch Up Paint for KIA - Snow White Pearl SWP | Pearl White | White Pearl | Scratch and Chip Repair Kit - 1.35 Fl Oz (40ml)

I like the easy to follow instructions and that it matches my original car paint color pretty closely. I had some long scratches on the running board and wanted to avoid a complete replacement of that body part, at least for now. I was actually able to cover the scratches quite well and will be following up with a 2nd coat of paint later. Good product!

When I first received the package, it was opened and clearly repackaged (including the paint jar which was opened), so I thought it was used. I contacted the seller and they clarified that it was probably customs. But they sent me a replacement package.When applied the color matches my car’s Yacht Blue shade pretty well. However, when blending the paint, the polytech cloth seems to dull the shine of the paint, leaving it noticeably more matte than the original color. I tried doing multiple layers but it didn’t help. The wax didn’t really help much either.Some other touch up kits may include clear coat layer which might be what is missing. Giving this still 5/5 because the dings are way less noticeable and customer service was great!

I thought this product was crap but I was just using it wrong. The trick is to let the product dry for 15-20 minutes. Otherwise, the blending solution just wipes away all the paint.Steps:1. Apply product. Make sure there’s enough that it slightly overfills the chip/scratch.2. Wait 15-20 minutes for it to dry.3. Use blending solution and wipe area until it’s flush with the factory paint.4. OPTIONAL FOR METALLIC PAINT. I purchased Wolf Gray (C7S) which has metallic flake. I found that after using the blending solution, the touch up becomes a lot lighter. This is because the solution dissolves the paint but leaves the flake. So to get rid of the excess flake, I compound the touch up paint using Meguiars Ultimate Compound.I attached pictures. This isn’t magic, you’ll be able to see the repaired area, but it’s unnoticeable from a couple feet away.

This by no means a miracle fix. If the chip or scratch is deep be prepared to apply MULTIPLE layers. Trying to blend anything other than a minor, surface scratch is pointless. Bottom line, if you just looking to fill an extremely minor scratch this item will work...if you are looking for more you will be disappointed.

This was the perfect match to my car. It was very easy to apply. The directions are well instructed. It does not take long to dry at all. The quality is amazing! Absolutely worth the money.

Initially comes out as a near perfect match to Kia Yacht Blue, but wait for it to dry and it is a dull purple. No wax or shine brings it to the correct color.

The paint kit was so easy to use, and very happy with the results!!

This is a wonderful paint and comes with a general white paint and a pearl white paint. It also comes with wax, blending solution, and more.I have a 2012 Kia Forte Ex that has the paint code SWP. The color match is wonderful. The pearl white layer of paint was a bit harder to put on and blend in, but it is an absolute joy to be able to finally cover all the scratches on your car. Even if you just simply use the general white paint, if you blend it in well, people will hardly notice. So the pearl layer on top of that is great. I haven't quite gotten the correct method to apply the pearl white paint down just yet but it is trial and error and is also a great learning process.The first box of paint was leaking and covered with dried out paint when it arrived. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement immediately! Highly reliable customer service and fast response too. I will definitely be buying from them in the future.

The tracking info said this package was stuck at customs for days so I wasn't even sure it would get to me.When it eventually arrived, the smell was noticeable when I opened the plastic shipping bag. The bottle of wax had leaked all over the kit and there was paint drip down the opening of the paint bottle.It requires I pay international shipping for refund.

Pas pire mais ce n'est pas parfait .. sa fait la job pour des spot de peinture du au roche sur le dash .. perso je n'utilise pas le produit qu'il fournisse pour enlèver le surplus car sa enlève tout .. j'ai même essayer après 1 semaine et ça la tout enlever la correction que j'avais fait .. je pence que acheter une petite bouteille de vernis a ongle qui ressemble à votre couleur ferais tout aussi bien l'affaire .. surtout pour le porte feuille

Actually the idea of this product is that you touch up scratches with paint and remove excess paint with solvent. Unfortunately the solvent also dissolved the paint in the scratch and the towel provided to wipe off the excess left blue streaks on the car. Total non sense product.

This product was not a good product. It was missing sponge and was very difficult to apply for such a simple product.
