Nice little E-file for th money.
Not bad for the price! Not as amazing as my $1000 dental drill that I've had for 25 yrs, but it's a great option for travel. I bought it strictly for pedicure use & my clients are very happy. It's relatively quiet & vibration is minimal. I had one prior, but the chuck that holds the bits wasn't working after about 2 years, which is a decent run for a $90 drill.I purchased a 3rd one after about a year from the 2nd one, but only bc I dropped the handpiece and it got bent, making opening & closing the chuck & installing the bits an annoying chore.. ggrr! But again.. 3 e-files later, I still go with this bc it's good for what i use it for.. (pedicures).

Very pleased
I'm a new, Covid DIY home manicurist. As with any skill there's a definite learning curve when doing our own nails but this e-file performs beautifully!!Watch a bunch of videos, keep your expectations reasonable, and with time you'll be pleased with your results! Don't expect professional results on day 1, but patience and practice will get you there. I'm 7 months in and still mastering filing with my non-dominant hand but videos help. Remember to turn off the unit before switching b/t forward and reverse and when packing up for next time. Overall an excellent e-file for the price, highly recommend!

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. When I tried to remove the straight drill bit that's in it by turning the center as instructed, the entire handpiece came apart. The bit itself seems lodged in there and no idea how to put back together. I purchased for a move overseas and since I had a medicool that lasted a very long time (but was not dual-voltage), I foolishly didn't test it immediately, trusting the brand was a good one. It seems pretty clear I received a used, broken unit. Very disappointed, it's going right into the trash.

Great little nail tool!!
I bought this nail tool so my friend could do my manicures at my home!! The quality is excellent and its the same file she uses in her shop, so I was pleased with the reasonable price. The only adjustment we made was to add some file tips that were more coarse. This is very lightweight and stores easily in my nail care bag. I am really pleased with this purchase!!

Transformer short
I’m changing this review to five stars. The company contacted me and is replacing the transformer! Stopped working in less than 2 monthsReviewed in the United States on October 12, 2019I bought this a month ago and have used it. Was working great till a short in the Transformer wire! Only works when I bend the wire attaching to the transformer! Does anyone know where I can find a replacement transformer?

Handle started getting very hot after about 10 uses
This tool worked great - until it didn't. I used it only about 10 times and then I plugged it in, picked it up to start filing and the handle was extremely hot. I unplugged it immediately, and proceeded to check the warranty, hoping I could reach out to the seller for support. Unfortunately, the support window is very short and I have a defective machine that I can no longer use.

This is my second unit
UPDATE, 03/02/22:#2 Purchase Date: 01/19/2021; motor started stalling in January 2022 when it had been used for 10+ minutes. As of 03/02/22, it stalls with the slightest pressure and over heats. Is an aggravation to use. Looking for a replacement.#1 Purchase Date: 11/16/2020; Refund/Returned unit 01/19/2021: motor stalled with the least amount of pressure; Vendor/Amazon refunded purchase priceMy first unit (same make & model) died after 5 years, 8 years??? idk I use the unit at home on my and my husband's hands and feet, natural nails every 1-2 weeks. This new unit was less expensive and of good quality. Also, the handheld portion of the new unit weighs less (is much easier to hold), the low speed is slower (which is nice for natural nails - the unit still has plenty of speed for non-natural nails too; I don't get past about 1/4 turn of the dial,) and its quieter. Very, very pleased with my new purchase. Would definitely purchase the unit again and recommend the unit to anyone.
