For ten years the identical clock kept perfect time and was precise in its alarm. When it fell on its side thealarm was no longer exact. The alarm of the new clock is 45 minutes off, so useless to awaken me on time.I'm keep it only as a spare clock, but not as an alarm. If used for travel, keep it in a box or bubble wrap toprotect it.

I keep buying this same clock since it's the only one that fits on a very tiny white ledge in my bathroom. Inevitably, I knock it over when grabbing for my towel. If I do that more than a couple of times, it stops working and I buy another one. So, my fault for knocking it over. But, it isn't a clock I would buy if I needed a clock to wake me up in the morning, nor would I use it for travel where it could be jostled around or you'd have to rely on it to wake you up.

It has all the features I'm looking for - an on-demand light, no ticking, alarm with snooze. A slide switch on the right side (the 3 o'clock side) turns the alarm on / off - no worries about accidentally turning it off by bumping into it. The snooze and light switch is on top, and is the same button. It seems to suggest that pressing one side is snooze and the other side is light, but it's really just one switch. Hands have luminous paint on it, but not the clock face. If you press it against your ear, you can hear whirr of the mechanism, but it is a lot softer than the normal second tick of other clocks I own. At about 4 inches away from my ear, I can only just about make it out if I'm listening for it. There's nothing flashy or gimmicky about this alarm clock. It's plain, it's small, and as long as it has a good AA battery in it, it works quietly.

2.5” x 2.5” x 1.25” and they last for years. This is our third purchase in ten years and the other two are still running. The light in the corner of one of them is out. 😂

We needed a few of these clocks -- we wanted compact, white, non-ticking alarm clocks. I ordered one in August and it was working fine (definitely no ticking involved), so in September I ordered two more. I was disappointed when they came -- their packaging said "white", but they were actually black. Not worth sending them back, so I tried to use them. Took one on a trip, so it was packed in our luggage on the airplane. When we got home, the minute hand had come loose, and the clock was unusable.A month later I took the other black clock on a trip, and on this one both the minute hand and the hour hand ended up loose, just spinning around, so again this clock was unusable.The white clock we originally ordered is still working fine, and as long we give it the TLC it seems to require, it should work fine around the house. We just have to remember not to pack it for a trip!

The clock functions as advertised. I am annoyed that the two knobs on the back are identical in size and shape. I find I often accidentally change the time when I am attempting to change the setting of the alarm. (To prevent this, I finally taped the time knob.) The alarm sounds at full volume right from the start. I would prefer an alarm that starts quietly and ramps up if and as you fail to respond to it. I like the silent/continuous movement of the sweep hand.

When I first got this, the battery would not stay in, almost tossed it in the trash. A week later and a few more tries, I was able to get the battery to fit properly into the compartment. Since then, the clock has not failed to wake me! Looks exactly like the photo just be aware it is a little cheaply made for the price. All in all, it's a decent little travel alarm clock.

This is a wonderful clock: compact, lightweight. I love the light: the switch is easy to find and press. The light feature is invaluable when I want to see the time in a dark room. In my Turkmenistan hotel room. the computerized lights weren't working well. If I turned on the bedside light, the ceiling light went on, and I had to call maintenance to shut it off. I didn't want to go through that for a second night and used my alarm clock light as a flashlight to find the bathroom. This non-ticking clock doesn't disturb sleep and it has a sweep second hand and snooze alarm.

My clock was broken when I received it so I really don't know how well it would have worked.. I returned it.
