Does this meet VW 502 00 standards? Last one I bought had the approved manufacturer standards on the front.

Absolutely yes, this oil meets VW 502 000 standards. I run it in my 2005 A6 3.2 with stellar results. It would be hard to find a better synthetic motor oil than this. My used oil analysis proved this oil was outstanding and protected the engine very well.

Is this a good oil to use with e85 fuel?

Hi Michael, It is not the fuel that determines the kind of oil to be used but the Manufacturer standard. So each engine oil would have a manufacturer spec and will be different for different automotive brands.

Motul Or Liqui Molly better?

I think this product is superior to Liqui Molly. I love liqui Moly JECTRON and Ceratec products, but the oil I used made the lifters tick bad in the winter. I just had my lifters replaced before I moved to a place with cold winters. I get less ticking from the lifters with Motul which the local German Auto shop uses and recommended to me. My car is a BMW 328i 2007 e90. Winters here get below zero sometimes. Keep in mind e90's are known to have "ticking" lifters, so liqui moly may be a great product for your vehicle. Just in mine, and in winter, Motul worked better. Oh, I also lost/burned oil with the liqui moly. When using the Motul my oil gauge doesn't go down at all between changes. Hope this helps, and keep in mind, from car to car, some will perform better with different oils than other cars. Make sure to follow manufacturer's recommendations.

This good for high mileage car? 2002 bmw x5 3.0, 430,000 km. running standard rotella 15w40. burns a bit of oil now.

I only have 70-80,000 miles on my motor home,I have no complaints, but have since changed to rotella 100% synthetic , I have Mercedes diesel. I talked to Mercedes and they use Mobil One.
