Very good nail extractor
The puller is heavy so you can get a lot of leverage. The small head lets the puller get into small places that a hammer would not fit into. If you have a lot of nails to pull like on a deck. This is the tool for you. I would recommend this to as a good buy.

My favorite nail puller for 35 years
My first job where I worked for a builder, I had an estwing hammer, which is bomb proof, so I got their nail puller. Somewhere I lost it and tried a toolbox full of others. Somewhere I broke, some just rusted in the toolbox because I didn’t like using them. When a claw broke off yet another one. I decided, no matter the extra cost I was going back to my favorite. The world is just a bit more harmonious all of a sudden.

Great tool. Great value
Used this tool to remove nails from over 600 sq ft of deck. Worked great.

NOT made in America!. Estwing has sold us (Americans) out.
The Estwing Handy Claw HC-10, is a great tool--nicely built, but it is made in Taiwan, NOT in America by Americans and of American Steel. Their All American video (see it with their 24 inch Gooseneck Crowbar, which I just bought) is really deceptive. So much for Estwing and their commitment to their employees and America. They too have sold us--Americans--out.

As someone who uses a cats paw pretty regularly, this thing is the best
It’s so comfortable to have my tool bag it’s a durable material that feels good in the hand, and I like the rubber sleeve on the handle as it protects my tool bag from getting destroyed

When the Estwing Pro Claw Nail Puller - 9" Pry Bar isn't up to the task
I was pulling 3" tongue-and-groove boards out of my barn with the Estwing Pro Claw Nail Puller - 9" Pry Bar with Forged Steel Construction & No-Slip Cushion Grip - PC210G, but that one was too narrow for the large 5" long galvanized nails, was too narrow to provide a stable base on stubborn frozen nails, and the sharp claw at the other end made it awkward to apply a lot of force even with welding gloves on.This Estwing Handy Claw was a huge improvement over the PC210G. The Handy Claw has a wider base, wider claw to accommodate large nails bordering on spikes, and the vinyl grip provided plenty of cushion to operate even without gloves. My only complaint is that the tips still got dented despite being made of forged steel. The one I got (days ago) was made in Taiwan, R.O.C.. like most of my trusty automotive wrenches I bought from AutoZone over the years.
