Works great on our sport court and sidewalks
I give this sweeper 2 thumbs up. We have a sport court that gets dirty from my neighbor’s crepe mrytle tree’s debris. It use to take me a lot of time cleaning it after bad weather or windy days. Now, cleaning it is a breeze using this sweeper. Pushing the sweeper takes no effort and removing the leaf/debris catcher and emptying it, is a super easy. I also use it to sweep my walkways and patio area. I should have gotten this years ago. Another nice feature is the sweeper’s side brushes allows you to sweep right next to a fence, mowing strip, house, etc.

Works Works Works
our janitorial company got a huge contract for us. It is a 500,000 sqft distribution center with parking lot. This is our first big gig. We prefer less labor, and more machines to do work. But cost effective. I did a lot of research on equipment for the various tasks we had to accomplish. One is the sidewalk around the building, and another is under machinery. I saw these units and decided to try the least expensive. This Karcher S-4. No motor. Just gears that turn when you push it. Let us see what it can do.Yes, with a lot of dust it will put some of it into the air. So a dust mask maybe needed. But does it work. YES IT DOES. I clean the parking lot too. Pickups the cigarette butts, small papers/plastic, etc. Cleaned up the parking lot, sidewalk very quickly.PRO--inexpensive, no motors to fix, no electric, super easy to operate, nothing to break, works wellCON--in a high dust area will toss some into the airHIGHLY RECOMMEND--We may purchase another one, and try a upgraded version

Although not perfect, it's a great effort saver.
I used this to sweep up a 20k square foot facility that was half carpet and half paved flooring. There was a lot of junk on the carpet like paper punch circles, small trash, push pins and a million paperclips. The front has the rotating sweeping discs that extend beyond the edges of the machine, the rear has a narrower pickup that resembles a reel mower. They work great together, unfortunately by design it doesn't do awesome at the wall edges. It picked up most small and light debris from the carpet but left behind heavier items like nuts, bolts, washers and coins. it picked up the punched paper circles and paper clips really well. small sheetrock screws were picked up but took a couple to a few passes. Saw dust was picked up nicely from the carpet (low tight commercial office type carpet) but took a few passes. This machine was way faster than a shop vac and easier to use than a standard vacuum or a shop vac.On pavement it did really well on basic dirt, dust, small items, but suffered on nuts, bolts, washers an coins just like it did on carpet.Overall a great effort and time saver, though it's not perfect. I'd buy it again.

Great product. Easy to use for people like me (not a handy person)
Very easy to set up. Very easy to use. It picks up a lot of stuff (we have acorns everywhere), and is a great and simpler alternative to pressure washing stuff out of walkways. With this sweeper, you can easily dispose of what you pick up instead of just moving stuff around your front yard. It's also way easier than using an outdoor push broom. And you don't have to worry about getting the stuff into a dustpan. It may seem a little pricey, but if you want to get stuff off out of your backyard/frontyard, very easily and quickly, this is a great product for that. If you have a very large space (we don't), maybe other methods would work better, but I'm very happy with this product. It also seems pretty well made and should last a while.

Very easy and works well
Omg this thing is legit. Picks up really fine dust and works great. Easy to assemble and using it in 2 mins. No instructions needed

Only Picks up Dust
The ONLY thing that this device picks up is DUST. Everything else gets shoved around and dropped later. Not even the tiniest of alfalfa leaves (think catnip-sized, dry tea leaves) are picked up. Leaves that blow into the aisle in the Fall are shoved forward, but NOT picked up. Shavings . . . not picked up. I really wanted to love this device. Over the past two+ years, I have used it many times on my concrete barn aisle. But, it does not make your cleaning any easier. If you think it is going to pick up little pieces of hay or miscellaneous horse apples, think again. I have yet to find anything that this broom will pick up -- other than dust.

Good for light cleanup, but not if you are a perfectionist
I purchased this with the goal of clearing acorns and oak tree "helicopter" seed pods from my driveway and sidewalks, as well as clearing grass clippings and leaves that blow in to my garage. Overall, the product is certainly lightweight and easy to use, but falls short in several key ways.1. You have to consider how you want to set your path when picking up materials. You cannot sweep this back-and-forth, and cannot clear corners easily. Tilting the unit back on the rear wheels to move it doesn't stop the rear sweeper, and it can often dump collected materials out the back, making you have to re-sweep the area again.2. This may work great for a woodshop with fine-grained dust and wood shavings, but clumps of leaves, grass clippings, etc. don't necessarily sweep as well requiring multiple passes. twigs, especially, can be a challenge.3. The bin fills quickly, requiring frequent emptying. The design also tends to collect material at the back of the bin, so some of it falls out when you lift the bin to empty it. I've found myself having to tip the unit on the front wheel/brushes first (or simply hold it in the air, front-down position), before trying to remove and empty it. The design is also a bit challenged if you are going uphill or downhill trying to pick up material.4. I've also had the issue with the front brushes coming off - the design could be improved with a better locking mechanism on those brushes. This works "good enough" for my needs to clear the bulk of the materials on my driveway. But if you are bit more of a perfectionist and wanting a completely clear and clean floor/driveway, you may be disappointed and/or finding yourself having to both make multiple passes and/or use a more traditional broom to clear corner areas first, or spread "piles" of material a bit to make it easier to pick up.
