Looks quite smart and fully closes with plug in it

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the cover has a tendency to fall off. It's a minor niggle, and one closed & clipped in, it isn't a problem at all. It appears otherwise to be good quality & is certainly good value for money compared with others I have seen. I would be happy to buy again.

Liked for extension for garden

Really good quality

Easy to fit and use.But within 6 weeks of installation the plug fails to work at all times.The contacts within the socket are poor quality and do not match the quality of the enclosure.Outside the 30 day return period it is hard to find out how to contact the seller.

Dose the job

This external single switched socket is good value, the plastic feels a little bit brittle but up to now it’s been fine. The rubber seal on the cover keeps coming out of the insert but as long as you check it’s fitted correctly each use it’ll be fine. With all the rain we have had it’s remained water resistant.

This was a nightmare to fit. Other similar products have push out entry holes which are simple and easy, taking a couple of seconds. This had the same markings on the outside for the holes but they didn't push out!I had to drill the hole I required which took the largest drill I possess and I still had to file the edges to enable the cable entry fittings to fit. This took over an hour. It did work when wired up but the outer clear plastic cover would not clip down to give full protection against the weather. I'm just hoping for the best but wish I had never set eyes on this rubbish!
