Pioneer AVH-3500NEX 1-Din 7-Inch Flip Out AV Receiver with Carplay and Android Auto (Renewed)

This is not a cheap unit, it costs a lot of money with limited feature. But, there is a huge but! The installation guide is very clear, just connect the cable together, and I can power it up with no issue at the first time. Everything just work as expected. steering wheel control works, and even the screen will be adjusted if you turn on and off your headlight. The operation is very responsive, even if it doesn't have wireless carplay, but the wired carplay will connect everytime. The OS is very simple, there is no andriod OS on this unit. It might be seems a bit outdated, and over price. however, the responsive and operations are flowless. Just like your cars radio. you hop in, and it starts play what you would expected. From CD, FM, or bluetooth. The screen can be folded once you turned car off, automatically, however I found there is an issue, because I am driving manual. Whenever I stalled, and restart the engine, it will take sometime for the unit to fold up and then extend the screen. I just disable it. Then the sound, it is much better than what I had for my OEM unit, even if I just replace the head unit. The sound is very clear, and the bass is deep. Bluetooth is loud and clear. that definiately worth the extra money I put in. By the way the unit costs about 4 times as much as a "plug and play" andriod unit, and I don't regret my choice. The theme can be changed in different color, and event the wall paper can be changed as well. That means the unit will makes your dash look unified and provide a much cleaner installation. Only thing is the button is a bit small, but no complains. The screen is not the highest resolution, but the contrast, color, responsive prove that it is more than enough to do the job.

Fit perfect. Easy to follow instructions. Just as described. The battery in remote was bad but once replaced worked perfect

Works great excellent sound quality!! Pioneer is one of my First choices in car audio stereo systems. Definitely a brand I've trusted for over 20 yrs.
