I ordered the Electriduct 2U Wall Mount Rack Enclosure Network Cabinet - Solid Door (New Model) - Pack of 2. Good packaging kept the cabinets well protected and they arrived with absolutely no shipping "dings."I was looking for a value solution to house two small patch panels for my office, and this fit the bill! the steel could have been a little thicker, but then again I wanted value. the wall mount cabinets function perfectly, lock easily, and do a great job hiding my messy cables. The only thing I would point out if you are considering purchasing this is that the keyed lock really functions more as a latch to hold the door closed than it does an actual lock. If you need something really secure that can stand up to forced attempts, well I guess you will have to spend a lot more money on something other than this. Hope this helps.

2ru box in my application now contains patch panel and Unifi 24 port switch. Plenty of room. Two vents on the sides, a fan probably could not be fit internally - but the switch runs cool, so who cares. For a vertical rack, very nice that there are NO VENTS on top (yeah!) which collect dust and dirt sending it into the face of the ports-up equipment. Height of the rack within the box is adjustable - adding to the flexibility. Eight (8) 1.25" knockouts top and bottom with included pliable rubber plugs which offer safety for the cables. Door can be removed for ease of access, and can be hinged either left or right with spring hinge pins. Easy. 12-24 Cage nuts and screws included. (BTW, there are three "Industry standard" rack screw sizes: 10-32, M6x1, 12-24) Great small size fits nearly anywhere. Heavy enough steel for its size and purposes. This box is not meant to a secure safe. These doors and locks are enough to keep curious fingers off network equipment. Recommended. For under $100? Highly recommended!

Great product very good quality

I bought this to house a single ethernet switch as an alternative to the ridiculously large and heavy enclosures on the market. I was able to to successfully install it, and it is working. However, I don't think that the manufacturer has ever tried to use the enclosure in this way.Here is the main problem: The flanges on the side that the switch sits on (with the squares for the cage nuts) are tightened from THE INSIDE (by Hercules, I might add). This means that you must tighten these to the side of the enclosure BEFORE you mount your switch. This means that you need to position these low enough so you can get a stubby screwdriver in the top of the enclosure to tighten the cage bolts. This also leaves just enough room for a small switch and JUST BARELY enough room to plug it in.If the manufacturer provided a way to secure the flanges from the outside, or a method to tighten the cage bolts from the top of the enclosure (holes or flip top), this would be a great product. As currently designed, it's merely good, and it is still a great value.

great little wall enclosure. perfect in all ways EXCEPT we thought you shipped it with the keys locked inside. it turns out, no keys in the hardware bag after we drilled out the back.

If you need a low profile enclosure for your application, then this would work for you. I house a network switch and cabling inside it and in some cases a security camera recorder as well. There's plenty of room inside for what I need it for. Will definitely buy more in the future.

Very cute - door is locked with the keys inside of the cabinet. Still trying to get it open without damaging but not having any luck.

Seems small but it is very spacious inside. I appreciate that unlike other enclosures, these already come pre built. If you need to store smaller networking equipment or even CCTV equipment, this unit is more than plenty to store those items inside.
