Gale Force Nine Dungeon Master Token Set, Multicolor

I bought all of these tin cans for all the classes and for the DM. They are really nice but smaller than I was expecting. But, they are quality items and work well with a dry erase marker that you will need to purchase separately. The condition tokens are great during gameplay to remind the dm and the player of any conditions a player ir NPC may have. I highly recommend purchasing if you are trying to get new players and want the players to feel like D&D is more than just pencil, paper, and dice. Handing a player a character sheet and a class (this tin) made my players happy and they got more involved/invested in the game. So, yes, this is unnecessary to play, but it does kick your session up a notch to “classy”!

A must have for all dungeon masters.

The best thing about this product is the metal tin. It’s a little bigger than 3" x 5” and, when the vacuform insert is removed, makes a great box for index cards and the like.But the plastic tokens that are the selling point of this product are substandard. The inspiration tokens are about 1” in size and they are, well, if you don’t have inspiration tokens, they are a good starter set. The square initiative markers are about 3/4” and they are...okay? I’ve never used tokens for initiative, but I suppose someone does.The condition markers are 3/4”, circular, and so small that they are hard to see in some places. They are constructed thusly: felt base, paper insert, clear plastic top. The adhesive isn’t uniform underneath the plastic So the color inset looks splotchy and uneven. Maybe these are designed to be placed next to your minis, but again, they are small and all the same color so unless you are eagle-eyed, you will have to keep picking them up to check them.There are a number of DIY solutions that will serve you better in every respect. I honestly just bought this for the metal tin. If you can use any of the components in your game, more power to you.
