It worked as it should, it's bright and easy to install.

We'll see how these hold up over time when exposed to the elements. i mounted these under my 4x4 to light the terrain, and for on-the-trail repairs. I cut the string into shorter segments, and placed a couple under the hood, front and rear bumpers, running boards, and fenders. They put out a good amount of light for the money, and are easy to install with the self-adhesive strips. Just be sure to use a good degreaser or alcohol to clean the body before applying the self-adhesive strip, or they absolutely will not stick. Tip- I wired these into dual circuits. First, I wired them into a dash switch for on-demand use. I also wired them into the factory door/running board light circuit. Now when I unlock my car from the key fob in a dark parking lot, the area under the car, and all around it is well- lit, which is great for security in dark parking lots.

This truck bed light exceeded my expectations in terms of light output. The lights came on 2 equal length strings of about 6' each, and spaced about 7" apart on each string. They had sticky tape on the back of each light which stuck really well to the underside of each bed rail after first cleaning well with isopropyl alcohol. However, the wiring was a challenge to connect, as the included push button switch was pre-wired to one of the 2 strings in such a way that another length of wire (not included) has to be spliced in in order to have both sides connected to the switch. Instructions were non existent, so you should know what you are doing before you tackle this. I gave it 4 stars for this reason. I connected the wiring to the always live wire in the 7 pin trailer wiring connector included with most North American pickup trucks, and properly sealed all connections wth heat shrink tubing (the connections are all under the truck, exposed to the elements, just behind the rear bumper).

These were recommended by a friend. We were looking for bright white durable rock / undercarriage lights that we could use in place of the other lights that change mutli colors. We have had these lights on for over 2 years and they have not once failed. We took our time installing to make sure they were secure, and wires were well protected. We have been on pavement, dirt, rocks, mud, water, and a mixture of terrain and none have gone bad. We do maintain the undercarriage after wheeling trips, and they stand up quite well to power washing. The bright white is practical for seeing when we wheel at night. In this picture, there are 1 per wheel well, 1 beneath each door and 2 in the grill (10 total)...and yes its that bright.
