53108900 Spring Barrel Nut Assembly Replacement for Clean & Clear Plus Pool/Spa Cartridge and D.E. Filter,Aftermarket Part

Have an old Sea Horse (Pentair) cartridge filter system, where the mid band would not torque down. Upon inspection, found the threads of the bolt were breaking down. Big problem .... until I found these replacement parts.They fit perfectly, back up and running in 5 minutes. Parts were delivered over night. And for a real value price. Never had any problems with the new spring nut,being brass they do wear out over time.

Barrel nut fit well but coiled spring that went over it was to wide. When I used the spring that came with the kit and tightened the barrel nut it would start to bend the t-bolt the tighter I got, because the coiled spring would touch the side of the filter housing and bend the t-bolt outward. I had to replace the coiled spring with an older one I had which was a little narrower and it tightened without touching the filter housing and bending the t-bolt.
