I bought this speaker for my 1966 convertible mustang. When I got the car, it had the original paper cone speaker...I bought a specialty speaker at a show to replace it, but I had to deconstruct it to make it fit. Being a convertible, I need a speaker that is going to be loud enough to be heard over road noise. My first one, not so much. This fits the bill beautifully, and I am thrilled to find a speaker that I do not have to completely modify to make it fit. On top of that, the sound quality far exceeds expectations. Now, my car only has a spot for one speaker, and this did not specify if it was one, or if I was buying a pair. There are two sellers on here, the other is a bit more expensive, but it does specify that you are purchasing a pair. Only needing one, I went for the lower price. Turns out, these are also a pair of speakers. So, if I ever need a backup, I have one at the ready! What a great price for speakers that completely exceed my expectations. I have had this speaker in my mustang for a couple of months now, and am very pleased. It sounds as good playing The Eagles, The Black Crows, and Snow Patrol as it does Disturbed, Korn, or the Drop Kick Murphys...Highly recommend this speaker! Great speaker for any music mood.

sound good in my old truck! replaced old worn out and some were non functioning speakers. good enough for my truck, work as they should. screw holes lined up with originals & made for an easy swap. only two things I had to do, #1 splice the wire ends on to the old wires #2 use the new grills and drill for those screws

Good speakers for the money. They’re cheap speakers so you get what you pay for. They’re made in China like everything else on here but for the price they are pretty clear. Anyone doing a square body Chevy rear speaker replacement will find these easy to use as the screw holes in the speaker match up perfect to the OEM speaker holder. The new cover included with these speakers does not match up but one could modify what you’re working on to make it work.

These BOSS 4x10 car speakers are a great price for a very hard to find speaker size. The rear speakers in my 1993 Chevy Suburban k1500 were blown and had been for years. I decided to try these as they were inexpensive. I wasn't expecting very much for the price ($26.00 for 2 speakers). I will say that these speakers did not meet OR exceed my expectations. Frankly I was expecting $26.00 sound and that is what I got with these. One major issue I have and the reason for the 3 star rating is that Brand new out of the box, One speaker was completely blown and malfunctioning. I had to have Amazon send me new ones. The new ones were shipped and arrived in approximately 3 days (So that was a perk to Amazon) Overall I can say that I was not satisfied nor dissatisfied with this product. I just feel somewhat BLAH with how they perform and will be looking to upgrade to better speakers soon. [...]

The speakers fit perfectly in my 94 Suburban. I did not use the grills it came with as they did not fit well over the stock covers. The screws it came with fit well and easier to install so I discarded the socket stock screws. The speakers sound well for my intended use which is to replace the junk stock speakers that blew. I have an amp and two 12" kickers so I'm just using these for Mids/vocals. I actually turn my subs off to hear the Boss 4x10's without my subs and front speakers on. They sounded clear but not are crisped as my front pioneer 4x6 and tweeters. However, they help add balance to provide a surround sound effect to my truck and will provide a better sound for back seat riders rather than hearing the subs just blasting lol. I'm not pushing much bass from my pioneer 50x4 watts head unit so hopefully, the Boss 4x10's last long. On the downside, I expected better tweeter highs since they are 3-way but overall I would recommend for the price.

Better fit than many more expensive units. These have the correct mounitng ears for OEM replacement. Plastic ring around front sticks up about 1/4 inch higher than stock, but for rear of K series Suburban (up to 1992), still fits fine. Some people on here have complained that they are too thick for some other GM applications. While that may be true, 5 minutes a bench grinder and a light touch would make them fit perfectly. VERY light gauge wire with cheap spade terminals for connection. For serious use, I would solder the speaker leads directly to the terminals. The factory connections will not work on these anyway. Maybe somebody could take the terminal connectors off of the dead factory speakers and mount them on these, but not really worth the trouble.

Also ich kann diese Boxen für den Preis nur wärmstens empfehlen.Guter klarer Klang mit etwas Bass, für mich persönlich könnte es etwas mehr Bass sein aber für den günstigen Preis sind sie wirklich gut. Sie waren auch recht leicht einzubauen mit der Anleitung. Von mir 5 Sterne und sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis!

Replaced rear speakers in mi 1991 Saab. This was the dimensions of the original so an easy replacement. Great sound, great price. Very happy with this purchase.

Die Boxen wurden unter der Rücksitzbank im Trabant Universal verbaut. Super Klang ohne Endstufe ganz normal an einem Radio angeschlossen. Sehr einfacher Einbau, da die Kabel mitgeliefert wurden.
