D.R. Harris Arlington Aftershave

This is one of my all time favorite aftershaves. It does what I think an aftershave should. It gives a nice astringent sting post shave, it tones the skin, and leaves a light refreshing citrus scent on your skin. The scent is not long lasting, but I like that from an aftershave, so you can layer with your favorite cologne without them interfering with each other.

Got this recommendation from Roger Ebert's biography and his love for London's D.R. Harris Chemist. It's a wonderful fragrance, manly and refreshing, especially when used with Preshave. Pretty pricey but clearly and indulgence for any any man who loves art of shaving with soap and brush.

It's a nice scent, sort of a citrus and pepper smell but as mentioned it does not last. I literally just showered and shaved and put on a nice healthy splash and it's already pretty much gone. I am definitely not a fan of heavy cologne and I prefer using only aftershave for the lighter scent but I'd hope it would last longer than 10 minutes. I guess this fragrance would be the exception and cologne is the way to go if you want it to linger a bit longer but I'll pass. I wouldn't purchase this again.
