BARSKA25-75x75 mm Colorado Spotting Scope , Black

This is a great scope at a very reasonable price. I tested it once on the shooting range and it performed superbly. Very clear view close and far. I could see holes from .223 on white paper at 100 yards on black or white part of the target. Unfortunately I could not see any holes in the orange bulls eye, but that could just be my marksmanship. I could see very clearly at over 500 yards, which is as far as that particular range extends where my view was blocked by a side of the hill. I could see holes on a splatter targets about 300 feet away. Do you realize it comes with a tripod at this price? Really nice tripod, too.Tripod and scope are very light and relatively compact. They each fit into their own zippered bag. I am pleased with this purchase, I see no faults with this scope or tripod.

Great value for the money. I upgraded from binoculars, to a table top spotter 20-60x60 and now this large tripod mounted 30-90x90. I absolutely love this larger spotter. I have enjoyed getting up close visuals of my nesting birds and have even spotted foxes and deer from a distance. This is not good for following running animals, at least not for me, however to sit and watch birds in and out of nests or on the water it is great. Good clarity on the lenses, travel bag was included. One nice feature is that it is waterproof so you can set up on a misty day or even stay out in slight rainy weather and not have to worry about water damage. Would highly recommend for an avid backyard birder. There maybe stronger magnification spotters out there but for myself this is perfect.

Always a sucker for value and this compact spotting scope has that in spadesDon't have unrealistic expectations and you'll like it. Good compact size, light and while the included tripod is kinda flimsy it can fold down into a compact size and does the job good enough.Only thing is the pouch included will not fit the scope with the tripod attached but no big dealWill update after getting out to the range with itUPDATE - forget about the plastic stand it comes with, the thing is pretty much useless if there is any kind of wind. It is not stable enough and will vibrate as you adjust the focus and windage/elevation. I put it on a tripod I had just laying around it is much better now.at 100 yards, all levels of magnification is pretty clear, 200 yards it starts to get semi blurry and at 300 yards you'll be hard pressed to see hits in smaller calibers even with shoot and see targets. Beyond that forget about it. Best magnification is between 15X-30X. Above that and it's rather difficult to get it to focus properly, almost impossible to do with the included stand.still a good buy given the price, but highly recommend getting a more sturdy stand to use with it. So far I've used it out to about 130 yards, and it works fine. I would think you could probably push it to 200 if you had the right target. But just be realistic its a cheap scope, and its limited because of that. I live in the mountains and 100 yards is my normal shooting distance. If you want something to work out farther than that cough up more money. I'm pleased with it for the price.

Figured I'd take a gamble on an affordable spotting scope, since I didnt want to drop a few hundred on something I'd only use occasionally.The finish is very nice, the carrying case is handy, and the adjustments are smooth. But that's about it.The knobs are cheap and feel like they'll break every time you touch them. The covers for the lenses only barely stay on, and half the time have fallen off in transit. The tripod is a joke. But all that's easily excusable.The reason I cant even bother to try and use this thing is the picture quality is absolutely awful. I have never once been able to get a remotely clear image, no matter how much cleaning, fiddling or adjusting. It's like the insides have been dipped in milk. Wish I'd saved the money and tossed a few more bucks in instead of being cheap.Edit: I'd like to know why this review is "hidden by sensitivity filter"??? Nothing offensive included but an HONEST review of the product. Dont waste your money. Disappointed.

Works Grate

The image is OK at the lowest zoom. But it becomes a tiny, off center, unfocusable, distant image of you use the zoom. Image quality is only OK even at low zoom. Buy something better. This is a waste of money.

Very touch when on the stand but other than that very clear when looking thru it and objects long ways away are pretty close up

Eu me interessei por lunetas recentemente e decidi comprar essa luneta como iniciante, para começar nessa categoria. Acontece que eu já tenho experiência com monóculos e binóculos. Mesmo tendo visto e lido resenhas sobre essa luneta e tendo os pés no chão e total consciência de que ela não é tão boa (e com preço chamativo), naturalmente achei que ela não seria tão ruim, pois ledo engano.A bolsa que vem com ela é de nylon e é bem apertada; é preciso uma certa força para conseguir guardá-la.A carcaça da luneta, conforme tanto a marca quanto a descrição do anúncio dizem, é feita de borracha, mas parece mais um plástico aparentemente robusto com toque emborrachado e com acabamentos sem muito capricho (como uma pequena rebarba de junção abaixo da regulagem de foco, por exemplo). Inclusive, o projeto externo e a configuração dela são idênticos aos de uma luneta da Konus, a KonuSpot 50.O prisma é BK-7, o que é até bom, mas no anúncio não diz qual tipo de revestimento esse prisma tem. A julgar pelo preço, o prisma não deve ter revestimento nenhum, o que só é bom pra deixar a luneta barata. O anúncio também diz que a luneta tem “ótica totalmente revestida”, enquanto que, no site oficial, ela é referida apenas como tendo óptica revestida, o que barateia mais ainda, sacrificando a qualidade e, de certa forma, enganando o cliente com esse “totalmente revestida”.O tripé que acompanha a luneta tem pouca utilidade e é muito leve, não parece oferecer estabilidade para uma observação sem tremores e é muito baixo. Não me dei ao trabalho de tirá-lo do plástico.O alívio ocular é quase inexistente; é preciso pressionar o olhal da lente ocular contra a órbita ocular um pouco além do normal para se ter uma imagem completa. O ideal (também para binóculos/monóculos) é um alívio ocular a partir de 14 mm, mas essa luneta tem 10–13 mm, conforme consta no site oficial e corrobora com o desconforto. E isso é muito ruim, pois propicia uma situação em que não se pode ter uma observação estável, porque em ampliações a partir de 16x, qualquer tremor mínimo já começa a causar desconforto e instabilidade na observação, até mesmo se você estiver usando um tripé que não seja heavy duty, o que é um cenário bem provável.A roda de regulagem do foco é normal, não é travada nem muito escorregadia.A resolução da imagem não é boa nem mesmo em 15x; nessa ampliação o foco é bom, mas mesmo com uma objetiva de 50 mm, a imagem é um pouquinho escura, o que naturalmente piora muito quando se amplia até 45x. E por falar em resolução, foco e zoom, o defeito principal que desagrada a qualquer um: na ampliação máxima de 45x, não existe nenhuma regulagem de foco na imagem; não importa o quanto você gire a rodinha do foco, a janela de foco simplesmente não contempla a ampliação máxima. A ampliação máxima da qual eu consegui tirar uma certa nitidez na imagem foi entre 27x e 30x.Concluindo, eu usei essa luneta às 16h de um dia ensolarado, com bastante luz disponível e para observações gerais. Tentei observar um objeto que sei que fica a 3 quilômetros do meu ponto de observação fixo e não consegui; em 15x, eu não conseguia ter uma nitidez decente, apesar de bem focada, e na ampliação útil máxima entre 27x e 30x, a pupila de saída de 1,5–1,66 mm não me permitia ver com brilho. E mesmo sabendo dos contras dela, fiquei curioso em saber como ela era justamente por custar 370 reais, mas ela é bem pior do que eu imaginava. Eu já sabia que uma luneta de espotagem de entrada no Brasil custa em torno de 1.300 reais e lá fora a partir dos 100 dólares, mas esse preço e o fato de ser vendida por um site sério como a Amazon me fizeram querer dar uma chance (lá fora, essa luneta custa 30–40 dólares). Felizmente, existe a opção de devolver, o que fiz prontamente e que também me deu segurança em arriscar comprando essa luneta.A Barska é uma marca que tem uma certa presença no exterior, mas é considerada uma marca mediana, e dá para perceber que ela lida muito com remarcações chinesas, com projetos cada vez mais genéricos de fabricação.Se estiver procurando uma luneta boa, procure de marcas como Athlon, Meade e Celestron, pra citar algumas.Se estiver procurando uma luneta mais introdutória e, conseqüentemente, de qualidade mais simples, mas não pavorosa, procure alguma coisa da Tasco ou Bushnell.
