Got what I paid for and expected
Watch came with some scratches as expected being an "Acceptable" renewed item. Battery health at 88% which is better than I had hoped for. Came with aftermarket charging cable and in a bag in a non-Apple box, again, as expected. It needed a ton of updates initially which took hours and I think b/c of that, the watch did not work properly after the initial pairing. After I unpaired and repaired with my iPhone, this time w/o having to do any updates, watch works perfectly. I'm happy with it, it costs 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of a new Apple watch and it has the O2 sensor which the latest Apple watches do not.

Watch defective, Seller completely unresponsive
This review is targeted more towards the seller MobileSpree than the watch itself. (Though I've learned my lesson about buying refurbished products from 3rd party sellers) The watch stopped working after 2 months -- randomly turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Followed all normal Apple Watch troubleshooting steps, but it wouldn't turn on.I was able to initiate a return before the return period expired, however I forgot to include the watch band. I tried to contact the seller to figure out how to fix this -- send the band, buy a new band, take a discounted refund.... anything. But the seller never responded after multiple attempts to contact. I had to find out through Amazon customer service that the seller charged the full amount ($177) as a "restocking fee". Absolute bull crap.Thankfully Amazon customer service helped, though it was after 3 calls to Amazon, multiple attempts at contacting MobileSpree, and needing to be escalated to 2 Amazon managers before anything could happen (the whole process took about 3 weeks). Amazon refunded the amount to me and will be going after MobileSpree.

Refurbished was worth going for!
Mine came almost like new condition. Super happy with it so far. Had a SE prior to this one which the screen broke on, this one I have a screen protector for. I’d definitely recommend going with one as the screen replacement would have cost me the same or more then upgrading with a newer refurbished model. Definitely pleased with my purchase/shape it came sent to me.(Had a recent bump in the road where the watch did find itself stuck and unable to take a charge). I’m not sure why, but after the 20th or so attempt at resetting it in which this time I held both the crown and button down for well over 1 minute, the screen finally reappeared & it looks as though it will begin charging once again. The battery life on it has not been the “best” so to say, but it certainly did not make sense for it to go from lasting a full day to just dying completely. Right now fingers crossed since it finally got off of the screen that shows the charging cable with the green light lit to showing the time, I’m hopeful it will now take a proper charge once again and work correctly. If that’s the case I certainly stand by my 5 star review for the value I received buying this refurbished. My tip to those who run into battery issues is to just keep messing around with it. Make sure of course the proper charging Amps are being used & for some strange reason the very long hold on both buttons along with just some random reset tries I’ve given the watch-hooray it finally looks like my watch is going to hold a change again. 🙂.

4.5 stars
Overall--I love this watch. I switched over from a Garmin vivomove HR to the Apple Watch, and was a bit hesitant but have been very pleasantly surprised. It's really changed how I approach fitness and health as a whole, which is what I primarily use it for over apps/texting/calling/notifications. I also, of course, love the native integration with Apple; I've got a few other Apple devices and love not having to think too hard about switching between OSes.The only downsides for me, and why this only gets a 4 of 5:--The band (I _much_ prefer a standard watch band, or similar, to whatever this is supposed to be haha--the over/under element is just ... mystifying to me, not to mention the band being WAY too big and not having enough holes for my wrist--so I've spent more time/money than I'd like finding a band that'll fit me).--The battery life (coming from Garmin, which would last close to 3 days, having to charge this 1-2x/day is a super duper disappointment; still working out the kinks on that and guesstimating how long X% will _actually_ last, but it's still nowhere close to Garmin).

Good buy
Works great, no issues. The watch band is kind of small for my wrist.
