ALTON ALD376 Anti-Corrosion & Anti Explosion 1 Meter, PVC Shower Hose Pipe, Grey

The hand shower is perfect for this price point. Please see attached pictures. The first picture is of my old hand shower and the remaining 4 are the 4 different modes of this shower. As you can clearly see, the speed of water is much better in this shower compared to my old one. Please note I have a motor fitted in my home that gives me between 1 to 2 bars of water pressure. For anything less than that , you may not get the same water speed but whatever you get will still be better than your old one I presume.

Let me begin by commenting on the first impression. The product arrived well packaged, well protected.Upon opening the package, the first impression is very good. I mean really good. Finish and Shine is impeccable. The material seems to be PVC but it feels strong, not light /flimsy/fragile or breakable. iIt has a good feel while holding in the hand, the grip is ergonomic and it holds well in the hand.Coming to the meat of the review, how does it perform? Well, it performs well. It has four different types of flow. I checked them all and all of them worked as expected. Flow of water was consistent and smooth. There was a nice click while moving from one flow type to another, which is pretty good. The click was clearer than the one I replaced with it, which incidentally served well over 12 years. The size of the shower head is good, the flow of water is good so long as there is pressure in the pipe. Taking a shower is pretty enjoyable, different and more intimate than showering under overhead shower.Good product, recommended.

Writing review after 2 yrs of usage.Product is good, probably one of best bought on Amazon. Mist is fantastic.Product light in weight. Got a replacement of defective piece promptly.Great value for money.

Pros:1. Easy to install and use.2. The 5 functions work perfectly when the water pressure is adequate.3. Liked the mist function a lot, you can use it for bathing as well as cleaning your bathroom tiles, toilet commode also.Cons:1. Since this is plastic (ABS), please be careful and don't drop. Otherwise it can easily break.2. The diameter is too large compared to other normal shower heads.3. If your tap water is hard water with high TDS, you have to take care and use descaling liquids to clean this frequently. Otherwise the holes may get clogged with scaling.4. Water pressure should be adequate, otherwise the flow will be low.

Installation was easy, the look is also nice, Lightweight, But fails in its basic purpose. It cuts the force of the water and makes it difficult to bathe. You have to spend too much effort to get water on yourself. The overall bathing experience becomes frustrating. Didn't like the product.BTW all good reviews are for some other hand-shower of the same brand, now the newer design is being sent and that is useless.

After reading the reviews, I was convinced that regardless of the material build quality, it would have great water pressure, which is the reason I bought this in the first place. And we live in a 2 storeyed house with a tank on the roof, so the pressure isn't really that bad, all the health showers and overheard showers work properly. But this shower had really bad water pressure. The only function that worked properly was mist. Massage and rain were despicable. The taps had a better flow than the shower.I don't know if its because I got a defective piece, but regardless, this was my first experience with an Alton Product, and it was bad.

I feel cheated. This does not have the MIST function as mentioned in the product details. I specifically wanted the mist function as it saves water. This is an ordinary product. Never will buy such products online as they don’t deliver what is mentioned in the product specs

Right....so finally I installed and tried it.- the shower hear material is light and feels good but is made of plastic and not metal as it looks like. But pretty stable for a shower head.- I have already put the pictures of the water spread . The other option are pretty similar and doesn't really have any difference. But the most option is pretty good.
