The lack of reviews, clearly inaccurate photoshopped images (that don't even match each other), poorly translated description, and high price all gave me hesitation. However this also appeared to be the only "mid-sized" round floating tray I could find with natural looking synthetic rattan in a style that matched the larger 36" that I purchased from another company (different "Wahoo" brand but strikingly similar look and style). I really wanted a 24" companion to that larger tray for smaller gatherings, so I purchased hoping for the best. When I first open the box and pulled out the tray I breathed a sigh of relief: it was stunning and looked very similar to the larger Wahoo brand tray though with only subtle differences in the weave that wouldn't be obvious to casual viewers even with them placed side-by-side. It had the same variegated-brown synthetic rattan to match the larger Wahoo tray (the reeds being slightly thicker but only if you looked closely) and while the weaving wasn't as uniform and exposed small bits of the aluminum frame underneath in a few corners (like the openings of the handles), the very fact that the frame WAS aluminum was another sigh of relief (tested with a magnet... no attraction... and weight of aluminum). I was ready to enter my own 5-star review when I then flipped the tray over and saw that the underside exposes the raw floatation-foam with no attempt to conceal. This is a departure from all other floating trays at this price-point which duplicate the same rattan/weave you see on the top of the tray on the bottom as well to hide the foam from view from beneath. That oversight is my single point of criticism... and the reason I'm returning. Because this was intended as a gift for a friend who hosts a pool-party that we frequent in the summer, and I just can't imagine giving anyone a tray as a gift that looks so unfinished when turned over (sure, while floating in the pool this wouldn't be seen, but it WOULD be seen whenever you're carrying the tray around). If that detail doesn't matter to you then please look at my photos and order with confidence and you'll love the overall design and level of craftsmanship... but if being unfinished on the bottom is a deal-breaker for you too, you're now aware of this (for me) glaring fault at this hefty price-point. I'd also strongly encourage the seller to consider (if they can) influencing the producer to finish the weave over the bottom as well and update the images and details... that alone would make this tray well worth owning even at this price.
