OtterBox iPhone 12 & iPhone 12 Pro Defender Series Series Case - Berry Potion (Raspberry Wine/Boysenberry), Rugged & Durable, with Port Protection, Includes Holster Clip Kickstand

I already had an Otterbox for my Iphone but needed to replace it. Although I needed to watch a Youtube video to remind myself how to replace it, when I finally figured it out I was very pleased. It is a very sturdy protective case ( I tend to drop my phone periodically) and the distinctive boysenberry color was actually noticed by several people the first day I wore it on my belt with the holster that came with it. Definitely worth the price.

This case holds up well to hard use. I work in a barn and am hard on cases that get dropped on concrete and dirt frequently. It protects my phone well!

Had this same case for years until mine completely destructed but I got my moneys worth and I found this one and the same color as my old one and it fits/feels exactly the same.

My teen grandson picked this case out himself. He loved the color of it in the picture, but when the actual phone came, it wasn’t the color as shown. It had more of a pink tone to it. I know he didn’t like that. BUT, after using it for a month, he said it protects his phone better than any case he’s had. (He has damaged 2 other cases quite easily). He also does not mind the color now. So I’m happy, and he’s happy!!

The case itself is what you expect if you know of the Otterbox defender series. This is basically exactly like the older ones with rubber on the outside, just without screen protection. If you want screen protection, you might look elsewhere.This is a durable case. But, because of its durability, it is also thick, so keep that in mind. The outer shell with the clip can also be used to prop the phone up, which I have always liked. Personally however, I don’t need the clip part. If you can figure out a way to remove the clip (I am hoping that at some point they make this an option - I have yet to figure out an easy way to do this), then you have a pretty sleek outer case that protects the screen, and you don’t need a tempered glass screen protector.The main thing I’m not a fan of is how thin the top plastic piece is that fits over the outer edge is the phone screen to hold it in the case. This is super thin, and back when these used to protect the screen too it wasn’t an issue because the top clear screen cover added support. Now….I’m not so sure. If you take it apart often, I am sure it won’t last all that long without breaking/cracking. Another thing I don’t like all that much is the color. The color is pretty ugly. I wish there were more options, but there aren’t.These cases are so expensive, and I am sure they cost very little to make - seems expensive for what you get. I’d probably buy a different color in the future, and might get a different name brand case too, but I wanted one that I felt would protect my phone well. As far as protection, this one certainly delivers.

I'm very clumsy and I drop my phone often. This case keeps my phone well protected and I love the burgundy color. It's my favorite. The cover is sturdy but it also has the right amount of gumminess and it feels secure in my hand. Other cases that are very smooth feel like they will slip out of my hand any time, but not this one. It comes with a holster that you can clip to your clothes or purse or wherever to add extra protection.The only thing I'm not a fan of is the flap that keeps the charging port protected gets loose and falls over time. I wish they could come up with a way that this would not happen because I like that the little flap gives my phone extra protection from water. Other than that, I like this case very much.
