Skechers Kids Mega Blade 2.0 Z-Strap Sneaker (Little Kid/Big Kid)

I love these shoes, I do... But, my son had the black/blue Mega Blades that didn't have so much plastic across the top/sides of the shoes, and those fit him SO much better. I don't have to buy Wides for him anymore, so I thought these would still be okay, but there is a considerable difference in the toe box width, due to these now having the plastic that gives zero flexibility for when you step down and your foot spreads out. My son is almost 5, and wears a 12. I've returned 2 sizes, and am ordering a 13.5 to see if we can make them work, since he loves his 'Fast Shoes' (what he called his last pair with the blades). So, the 2 stars is due to the fact that these are no longer mainly cloth across the top, making them narrower. I also think the plasticy look cheapens the shoe, visually, but that's just my opinion- my son likes the look of it.

My 7 year old saw these sneakers on TV and absolutely had to have them. The reviews were all over the place and I didn't feel comfortable spending $60 on sneakers that may or may not be worth it, so I added them to my Wish List and checked back daily hoping for a price drop. Sure enough they went down to $30 and I snatched them up! He was so excited to wear them, and show them off to his teacher and friends. The fit was perfect, and according to my son "super comfy". We didn't experience any of the problems the lower-starred reviews mentioned. He's been wearing them for months and, although they're becoming a little worn from constant use, they're holding up very well. These are his go-to shoes for everything, and they really are pretty cool looking. Definitely a great purchase!

My Grandson absolutely loves his new skechers. They light up and the colors are great too. They look great and the materials seem to be good quality. There are no shoe strings to tie . Yeah, yeah, yeah. Therefore, there are no shoe strings for him to walk all over and get nasty. The design of the shoe is really neat and the jagged look of the sites are fashionable.

These are awesome! My son absolutely loves these shoes, the red metallic coating around the soles are wildly bright and reflective and not in a negative way. The shoes appear to be durably built and they fit just as expected. Very cool, flashy, unique shoes your kid (and their friends) will love!

Would not buy these shoes again. My son (7 y/o) loves them, and yes, they're cool looking. but the straps are short and he has trouble keeping them buckled. He's often tripping because the shoes come unbuckled and he doesn't realize. We have been buying other Skechers for him for years and I'm a loyal customer of Skechers for him, but not these!

My son is 7 and picked these out for his new school shoes. They look amazing! He pulled them out of the box and had to put them on immediately! They fit great and he was so excited to show them off to his friends. He wore them all day to school the next day and said they're super comfortable and wants some in every color!

My grandson wanted these at a shoe store, and I waited to purchase until I checked prices online. The price I got them for on Amazon was less than half the shoe store price. They are a quality item. When he got dirt caked on the bottoms, I held the bottom of the shoe sideways under the kitchen faucet and got them cleaned out with no problem. He loves them.

My son loves his new shoes, even though they don't light up or have any superheroes on them 😉I wish they were able to be tightened a little. The Velcro pad is kinda short limiting the tightness. But he is able to put his own shoes on so that's a big plus. Although sometimes I think they look too loose on his foot.

Sketchers make the best shoes and there is no doubt about it. This pair I bought for my 06 year son size 13 and he almost fell in love with them instantly. My son's foot is 17 cm in length ,bought UK12 size it fit properly ,my son is very happy to have this pair ,probably would sleep wearing the pair today :))

These are cool looking shoes. Down fall, they get hooked onto things on the playground.
