100% worth it for both cold and hot sand game days!
I bought these for sand volleyball season in Ohio, particularly for a 9:30pm game in April when the temperature was 36 degrees. I was worried about my feet freezing and new regular socks would not do the trick (I can’t stand the sand getting into my socks). These MORE than delivered. They kept the sand out completely, and they kept my feet warm. My whole team was very jealous and I told everyone to get them. They didn’t slow me down or impede my ability to play at all. If anything, I think they gave me a little more traction. Oh, and they’re extremely easy to clean— I just rinsed them off and air dryer them. For the cold day, I wore a thin ankle sock underneath for an added layer, but I definitely didn’t need to. Also, I got the black pair, and I wore them with black leggings so they didn’t look silly either.I can’t wait to try them on extremely hot summer days or wet sand says! I’m thinking they might look a little silly with shorts, but worth it for the function. Also, I’m a women’s shoe size 10 (US) and I ordered a Medium in these!

Feet stay sand-free and comfortable
Great protection for your feet on the sand. I use them for beach volleyball and they are great! Comfortable and no sand gets in under the Velcro strap. Recommended!

Great for hot beach sand
Best purchase this summer. We live near and love to visit Lake Michigan. For years we have suffered with the burning sand. Not today! I bought a pair for myself and my skeptical husband. He loved them as well. Super comfortable; easy to put on and take off; and best yet, no heat on our feet!!!!

Light, thin, warm, and actually improves mobility in the sand.
Very thin, light material, yet keeps my feet warm at the beach in low 50F weather. The strap closes snug, even with my thin lower legs, and stays up remarkably well.I posit that this improves mobility in the sand - while barefoot, sand can pass in between your toes and make it harder to travel. These socks create a barrier so the toes have a platform to plant on, run faster and jump higher.I know I sound like a Vincere sales rep, but I rarely give out 5 star reviews and this deserves it.

Decent sandsocks
I've had these before and they are decent as they get the job done. You'll always get sand come through My previous pair got a hole in them. I'd say they last for a beach volleyball season ( playing twice a week). I couldn't remember what size I had previously gotten, so based on reviews and sizing, I got a medium and it was huge. I am a 8.5w/7m and the medium was way too big.

"Medium" for Size 9 Women's Foot
These worked well for my daughter's first practices for her upcoming sand soccer tournament. I did purchase the medium size and she wears a size 9 in womens. I almost purchased large instead but glad I went with the medium. Good material, seems like they'll last a while and the velcro at the top closes the sock off nicely. They aren't super thick nor will they offer much blunt force protection for kicking a soccer ball or for stepping on rocks/debris, but they are certainly nice if you plan to play for a lengthy time on the sand.

These sand socks work well for keeping sand out while playing sand volleyball. If you have cuts, abrasions or tender scars on your feet or ankle area, they are *fabulous!* The sand does not get into the sock and it makes playing enjoyable. We plan on using these for walking in river beds during our hiking and backpacking trips, too.
