This polish is really pretty but I agree that you have to work with it. No matter what I could not get an even application and it was hard not to make it too gooey because you need 2-3 coats. I used the Ella and mila base coat and it has lasted one and a half weeks with minimal chipping; however the polish did shatter very badly which I've only ever seen happen with gel polish. I was very disappointed with the price point as I can usually get OPI nail polishes half off with better quality. I wanted to love this polish because it's cruelty free and a conscientious brand.

My wife loves this. She's orders several other colors after giving these a shot.

This polish. I wanted to like it, but ultimately it was a pain to work with. The formula is on the thicker side but somehow is not opaque. I mean, it took me 3 fairly thick layers to achieve somewhat opaque coverage. And I still have streaking on some nails. It hasn't chipped but I am going to attribute that to the really good base and top coat I use. The bottom line is based on this shade I will not be purchasing any additional polishes from ella+mila.Also, for the purposes of this review I am disregarding the color (because that's a personal preference), however, I will say the picture here is very close to what it looks like in the bottle.

I received this as part of a subscription service. Unfortunately, the coverage is very lacking. The color is pretty but at this rate, I'll be waiting all day to finish both hands.I applied Essie's base coat and two coats of this and still had gaps in the coverage. That is not acceptable in a nail polish. I'll be removing my two coats and throwing this away.Maybe this is a bad bottle, but I'm waiting around to watch.
