Ampersand Art Supply Wood Painting Panel: Museum Series Claybord, 9" x 12", 1/8" Flat Profile

Arrived quickly and in a thin bubble envelope but it was damaged. For the price, which I do not think was cheap, this was not good. I can not now use it for an art project and will look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Ampersand Clayboard is innovative, high-quality artist's painting surface, specially for mixed media. Can't wait to try it. Unfortunately, it's hard to get by in EU, so I ordered from US, Hyatt's Graphics Supplies. Fortunately, in fact. It took some time to arrive to Croatia (bit less then a month), but is was superbly packed and everything arrived in pristine condition. Price was also very acceptable. I would recommend Hyatt's to everyone, even if you're ordering from a greater distance from US.

I absolutely love these panels for painting with acrylics. The surface is perfectly smooth, & the backing is firm & solid. I like the size of these panels, too: they're perfect for doing smaller paintings, while still allowing full expression of one's ideas (though in "miniature"). My only complaint is that this time one of the panels was damaged, with the clay chipped off in two places. Normally I wouldn't nit-pick about this, especially given how easily something like this could happen, but since there are only three panels per pack the damage makes 1/3 of the panels useless for anything serious. Nevertheless, I highly recommend these Clapbord panels. Just make sure to check that they're all intact when you receive them.
