Works great
Good bathroom vent

nice speed range
good range of speed, seems like it has enough power for my 2'x4' grow tent at the lowest speed, so plenty of room to move up. vent was mounted a bit wonky and had to be squeezed into space, settle for fan not touching wall not perfectly centered. but the real draw for me was that the fan blades have some pitch and might actually move some air compared to others in the price range. thinking about blade replacements. it is nice and quiet considering its size and based on the previous reviews being good i'm hoping the motor and speed controller last a couple years, will definately edit this if it doesn't.

Simple in line fan duct
Good for moving air in or out of an area. Solid steal and quiet. Multiple speeds and fairly safe.

They work as advertised
The guy that says this thing is no good shows him trying to blow the air through the air duct don't have a clue do you I bought these couple of times they work great this the smaller one doesn't move as much air, the 6-inch one is quite better but come out is a 4-in fan and the controller doesn't go super slow on low but it does control it don't listen to that guy and the shipping is fast they work great but if you need a lot of air get the 6-in one it's a little bit of difference but these people that leave negative feedback it don't make sense ruin it for the rest of it

Noisy - needs sound attenuation if straight in line with register
Very noisy for house use. need to take measures for sound attenuation even a low speed.

Well made fan
We've been using this as an additional. Blower for underneath the bed, coming from the furnace vent, and it's been working wonderful for over 2 years now. You're able to adjust the speed of the fan, but this helps blow the hot air or cold air from under the bed out to heat the room.

Quiet enough, but weak airflow
First, the fan noise is reasonable. The fan might suffice for some applications out there (i'm not sure what.).... That said, I got this for exhausting 3D printing in a 9 cu. ft. enclosure and returned it. The air intake is very weak. The position of the motor bracket causes turbidity at the intake (some in/out). Maybe a cone over the intake would help. I also grow microgreens in a basement vertical farm and this isn't a solution for that either... some simple USB 120mm case fans far outperform this fan at a fraction of the cost, despite a slower speed. I think the blades are poorly designed. If you're getting into 3D printing or laser engraving, spend another $30 and upgrade to a higher cfm 6" fan. Don't risk your health. Growers have better options too.
