Oregon ChaiConcentrate, Original, 1.5 Gallon Box

First off, thos does not actually come in the handy dispenser box. Just a big bag rolling around in your fridge. Also, it doesn't quite taste the same as the cartons. I don't know if it's more concentrated than the cartons and I just need to compensate for that or what. I'll use it, but I'm not ordering this again.

Back in 2010 I purchased the "Oregon Chai Super Concentrate ½ Gallon Jugs (Pack of 4)". It was excellent in flavor and concentration.Later I tried to order it again but it was out of stock. I ordered another product "Oregon Chai Tea Concentrate the original flavor, food Service 1.5 Gallon". It was awful. Very sweet and not concentrated at all.I am trying to order the original product again. The site tells me that it is in stock, but the description of the product is different. It says "Oregon Chai, Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, Original, 64-Ounce Jugs (Pack of 4)". It doesn't say "Super Concentrate" as in the original order I liked. It only says "Concentrate". But if I zoom in the image of the product, the label in the bottle does say "Super Concentrate".Can any one tell me if they know this product is indeed the Super Concentrate, although the description on the site only says "Concentrate"?

So happy to be able to find this. I had almost ran out as my local Smart & Final hadn't been stocking it for some time. Delicious, and much cheaper when you purchase it in the Mongo size.. Seems to stay fresh forever. The spigot system is uses is very sealed, so waste hasn't been an issue.

This is a 1.5 gal of wet concentrate used to make 3 gal of chai when mixed with milk. At a glance thought it was a powder mix since that’s what I typed into Amazon. They were nice enough to refund me.

So delicious and a great value. Very happy to have it in my fridge.

At 1:1 ratio, it uses a lot of product to make a drink. Not very economical like other brand concentrate--really can't call it a concentrate at that ratio. Flavor is only so-so and weak at that. One thing that has made me not like it very much is how it interacts with milk. All other brands I have ever used are stable. This makes my milk turn sour after a coupe of hours. I make a thermos full for work and it start tasting sour at about 2 hours and totally curdles the milk within 4-5 hours in the thermos. GROSS!!! I have not even made it through half the first box and not sure if I will be able to finish. Thinking about throwing it away. What a waste of money.

Two big bags of the perfect chai powder. Just add hot water. Should last forever!
