Poshland Handmade D2 Stainless Steel 9 Inches Full Tang Skiner Knife (BC-1096)

This is a well balanced fixed Damascus steel blade. Fits well in the sheath provided. Fits well on the my belt through the belt loop and is comfortable to carry. The blade is sharp and the handle is well made with a great look to it was well.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful Damascus blade. Quality through tang design, polished grinds, Beautiful pinned multi color handed. My son was very happy with his birthday gift.

I did not buy this knife for much real or hard use. I bought it for its beauty and to add to my collection. That doesn’t mean it might not be used at some point.I gave it a 3 star in craftsmanship for four main reasons that are pictured. Because none of the craftsmanship issues effected the working ability of the knife I chose not to rate it lower. There were tooling marks on one of the dark handle sections. When you look at the spine of the knife the bone and black colored sections don’t align evenly. Also, when you look at the spine the metal isn’t perfectly straight or even. Where the handle and heel of the knife meet the workmanship is pretty rough and unfinished. Any craftsman or artisan who takes any amount of pride in their work would not overlook these types of details in their work. Despite these craftsmanship flaws it is still a lovely knife.I will say that from other reviews I had read I expected it to be much worse than it is and was prepared to package it back up and return it. The different color sections of the handle align smoothly and neatly with the brass sections that separate the different colored sections. The brass rivets/pins are smoothly, neatly and evenly ground and aligned in the handle. I love the Damascus look of the blade. I may never know if it is real Damascus because I may never give it serious use.I know the price and value of a truly good knife. For the money I spent I got about what I can expect. I have no real complaints. It has a sharp edge. There are no burrs or obvious flaws in the edge. It is riveted full tang and feels pretty sturdy. I like the heavy leather taco style sheath. I like the feature that offers the option of carrying a striker. Looking at the striker sheath, I’m not sure if there is enough room in it for a striker, but it looks nice. The stitching on the sheath is evenly and well done with heavy duty thread. It has a double row of stitching.I like that the knife came in a plastic bag with oil in it. The oil wasn’t overdone, just enough to make sure the knife was in an environment that didn’t promote corrosion and offered additional protection.

Nice looking knife holds an edge well. It’s not perfect on fit and finish, but at this price range it’s excellent. I’m very happy with this purchase

Embellishment came off the guard creating a gap. The handle was too brittle. The Damascus blade was awesome. Loved the value and the feel of it in my hand

I bought this for my hunting knife. I am surprised how heavy this knife is, and it is good that it has enough weight to trim small branches. It look very sharp and very nice looking. It also comes with good enough sheath. So far I am very satisfied. I will see how well it holds in the next hunting season and update my review.

Almost zero edge when arrived. Took some work to put one on it with a whetstone and will see how long it holds.Damascus pattern is stamped on. When sharpened it goes away.Oil all over the blade and handle when shipped in a plastic bag.

The quality of the leather work in the sheath alone made this knife worth the purchase. And the blade itself seems to be a well made and good looking knife. I’ve enjoyed it.

Xmas gift for my husband. He loves it

First time ordering from Amazon so I didn't know what to expect. The knife showed up 4 days early, so that was a good start and it was exactly as pictured. Seems well put together and has some weight to it. Damascus is real and not an etch. The handle is smooth with the brass raised a wee bit for some grip. The sheath is nice thick leather. Overall I think this will be a great knife and it'll be around for a while.

I like the knife it looks beautiful if youre not expecting perfection...the few FLAWS i dislike about it are minor for a first knife online..the handle was NOT FINISHED having SHARP edges on the spacers and little GAPS in them and a CRACK in the handle that looks like it was filled with resin but im not sure..HAD to get it sharpened and it is still only just sharp cant shave hairs on my arm like i would like to see..but still as a first online knife and none others to compare it to i like the value. EDIT after first and second use....so as mentioned the handle seemed unfinished and as a result the knife BROKE, I have 5 dollar knives that have been put through far more abuse than this,for a bushcraft knife this is NOT ACCEPTABLE ...also im pretty sure the blade is damascas but its WELDED on to the handle. DO NOT BUY FROM POSHLAND!! Also if you want to have a replacement sent you had better find out if its durable enough within the 90 days or there is no way to talk with customer service about this? Ive literally gone camping twice with this and it broke second time?

This Damascus knife with bone handle has to be one of the nicest knIves I've ever ordered, regardless of price. Has a very balance weight and is somewhat hefty, I have large hands amd this fits the bill exactly. Well balance from tip to handle. The sheath is high quality cowhide. Would give anyone the thumbs up from campers, hunters, hikers, outdoorsman, or simply trail hiking and picnics. Absolutely love this knife. Thanks!
