Great set here!
Nice set of diamond plates. Works very well and sharpen blades fast. Multiple times more efficient than water stones. This kit will get your dull blade to razor sharp. You would need to purchase higher grit stones for ultra sharpness. Plate is thin and can be thicker.

Solid value
Bought the 600/1200 grit double-sided with base, then the 200,400,500,1000,2000 sets. The 600/1200 was fine, though there seemed to be enough grit contamination on the 1200 to leave similar size scratches as the 600. Still a good value for the money compared to most things all things considered as the base is decently nice. The 5 set of single-stone-per-grit are great. Had an issue with a package arriving empty, but it got quickly sorted out and resent. Good investment, especially considering the price. After breaking in the 1000 and 2000 were even better than I expected and leave even very high angle edges shaving sharp after a small amount of stropping.

These work quite well
These are exactly what they say they are and work quite well. They are thin but still stiff enough they are solid plus a (felt?) backing I think it is. I sharpened a pocket knife and 2 kitchen knives without any issues. I just used some water droplets and that worked great. These are thin so use at edge of a table or they have a "base" I think that brings it off the table more but I don't have that. I just set that at the edge of the table (plastic tray like you use to put food on in front of the couch). They didn't slide or move but with diamond strop you don't need pressure so much as you need angle and repetition to sharpen. They have multiple grades which are great for kitchen knives because of the size of the plates. Once you have a good edge I do recommend a dedicated leather strop for kitchen knives. Another dedicated leather strop for pocket, carving knives also. The reason...kitchen knives are long so you will use longer strokes across the whole blade in one motion more often. Pocket knives and carving knives are short so they won't be from edge to edge on the strop so you may make grooves in the leather over time. The grooves can cause issues with longer kitchen knives. Then again I could be totally wrong on this theory but it stems from stopping straight edge razors and it's recommended to have a strop dedicated to Each razor. These work great. Kitchen knives were one stainless chef knife, one carbon chef knife, two smaller knives similar to the stainless steel. All were dull and all cut paper like a razor blade after.

Purchased for use of lathe and mill tooling touch-up
I normally use a stone, parked beside my lathe for touch-up or adding a slight shape to radius on tool bits, but wanted something a bit more durable, and not fragile if dropped, so purchased this for that purpose. It does exactly what I want, faster than the stone, with more control over end shapes. The unit is fairly sturdy when placed on a flat table, even though it is extremely light wieght and plastic base. Price for my purpose was fitting.

They work great
I bought these to sharpen broadheads with a jig they work well and they don't slide around to much. Nice to have options on the grit to start with rough and work your way down to fine.

Great product
As with most diamond plates it will need breaking in but is of great quality for the price.Whether you are new to freehand sharpening or experienced you should find it easy to get a good working edge in short time and not have to worry about it dishing out with use

How to know it is CWOVRS diamond stone?
This was my first purchase for a diamond stone. I had read that it one gets a good diamond stone for sharpening knives, chisels, and other tools, then it may last a lifetime. Though expensive I decided t go for a CWOVRS diamond stone from Amazon app.How does a customer know whether a product is branded or unbranded?I think a branded product has its name printed, etched or embossed somewhere on the product. When this product CWOVRS was delivered to me, I checked the brand name on the product. It was nowhere.I went to the seller page and clicked on “Ask a question’. I was greeted by an Amazon associate, and upon my typing my requirements , I was further directed for chat with an associate, who unfortunately could not help, and directed me to another associate.Among other things I was asked whether I wanted to return the product. I told them I would not return if there was a way to prove whether the product was genuine or fake. I did not get any appropriate response though quite some time was taken.I request Amazon for ways to help customers to know whether a product is genuine or fake. It is disturbing when a customer spends a lot of money and does not know whether a product is genuine/branded or not.

Gives a decent blade
Will produce a workable sharp blade pretty quickly. Only downside is it does rust up a bit if using with water. Doesn’t seem a problem so far. Worth the money I’d say & the box with lid seem well made.
